Liked: The room (6 female bed dorm) was quiet and the hostel is safe, every week end there's a safety guard. It is not the right place for who will plan to party. Breakfast was ok, probably I suggest to add few extra flavours of jams. Colorful whole hostel and very closed to city centre.

Disliked: Poor level of cleanless. In most of all bathrooms weren't hooks for shower towels and shelves to put your personal stuff while you're having a shower. I some lavatories weren't any mirrors and in the rooms not enough elettric plugs to dry your hair. The WCs weren't properly cleaned on the outside and after this the only thing cleaned was the basin. The doors' shower were mouldy! During my stay I haven't seen anyone vacuum the room's carpet floor or along the corridors. In my room not all lockers were able to being used and the were too little to fit a laptop. The kitchen isn't fully fitted kitchen has described, missing peelers and some another utensils to cook. It has also need a DEEP cleaning inside the cupboards.

Disliked: Breakfast was a bit stark, but the staff pointed us in the direction of local amenities.

Liked: It was a newly-renovated space with good facilities: kitchen, common room, dining room and bar/games room, terrace... The staff were very friendly and there was a distinctive laid-back atmosphere.

Liked: nice receptionist(forgot to ask his name though), clean environment and good quality concerning the price

Disliked: the upper bed's roof is too low to sit up, hitting my backhead a lot, very painful

Disliked: Heating was ott, so hot could barely sleep plus mattress was rubbish but others in the room were ok.

Liked: It was very clean. Nice common areas, tv room, pool table. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The heater was too high, we barely could breath. The mattress was not very good, too soft and thin. The breakfast was poor, but the rest was good.

Liked: Loved how close it was to the city centre! Literally a 3 minute walk to the major shops, pubs and clubs of Cardiff. The price was insanely great! We literally used the hostel just as a place to sleep between going out and waking up the next morning. Beds were really comfy! Nice and warm and welcoming.

Disliked: There wasn't much space outside of the rooms. Decent kitchen size however the recreation room was tiny. Small pool table and room for maybe 8 people to sit down. This made the breakfast very awkward the next morning and we ended up standing in the kitchen eating our toast.

Liked: Very friendly desk staff, free breakfast. Wifi connection was pretty good and lockers in rooms is helpful. Showers were fine. It's only a short walk to the central shopping area of Cardiff.

Disliked: Beds not the most comfortable, and squeaky. As it's a smaller hostel it can get very noisy at night with loud Europeans, but if you have earplugs, you're fine.

Liked: great atmosphere, great kitchen & TV/Internet room (free Internet!) & free wifi, basic but good breakfast, cornflakes & toast & free! Clean bathrooms, never had to wait to use one Easy walk into town (5 minutes) & close to a sainsburys & many places to eat also
