Liked: Friendly staff and very good location - 10 mins to the castle, 10 mins to the city centre, 5mins to the bus station and easy access to the Cardiff bay

Disliked: I would say just make sure there are no big rugby games at the same time as your stay as them fans can get really loud ;)

Liked: Free car parking was wonderful with a safe locked gate. Super TV lounge, and friendly people in the bar. Real proper coffee at breakfast Self catering kitchen where I could boil a kettle for my flask to take away

Disliked: Incredibly hot upstairs - even the cold tap-water was hot! Bit noisy with people coming in late. impossible to open and close dorm door without making a noise!

Disliked: bathrooms too small for amout of poeple on floor sharing them there were no cages under beds to lock stuff in like at many other hostels, had to pay for lockers

Liked: close to centre and bus station

Disliked: Wall are paper thin, our private room was situatednext to a dorm which was noisey, the bathroom facilities were quite far from the room.

Disliked: some of the worst matresses I've ever encoountered - may as well just had the bed base instead

Liked: Really cool hostel. Good breakfast, free parking and nice staff. Lockers outside the rooms which I thought is great!

Disliked: You have to pay for the gym...

Liked: Great place! Goods location just across the river from the main part of town, and a very friendly atmosphere. There is live music on Saturday nights until around midnight, which was very fun! I was in a 6 bed mixed dorm, beds were comfortable, room spacious. Showers are good, though it is hard to keep your cloths dry, as there is no shelf. Cardiff is a great city, and this hostel recommended : )

Disliked: clothes hard to keep dry in showers, but most hostels have that problem.

Liked: Friendly staff and listening to the live band by the bar. Good times.

Disliked: Breakfast was fairly minimal, some eggs would have been awesome.

Liked: Very good location to Millenium Stadium and city centre. Hostel had lots of facilities and if coming to Cardiff again would definately consider another visit.

Disliked: Just that the room smelt really bad as the windows hadnt been opened in the day, otherwise was fine!

Liked: Very sociable hostel with lots going on most of the time. Everyone was friendly and approachable, and it was a short walk to the city centre. Breakfast included : )

Disliked: As with any hostel, it can be noisy late at night/early in the morning, but that's the price you pay for value for money.

Disliked: hand dryers didn't work and the felt on the pool table was the wrong way round :(

Liked: Free wifi, big free beakfast, access to the gym, very helpful staff and a cool bar downstairs with a chilled vibe.

Disliked: Wifi access is spotty, no lockers in rooms, only two hooks in the showers.

Liked: It was really clean and spacious. I was very impressed by this as I've stayed in a number of hostels and therefore know how rare this is. It also had a great character and everything required for a comfortable stay: kitchen, TV, washing machine, great (free) breakfast, phone, computer. The bar was nice and the staff were very keen and willing to help you out or even just have a chat. I appreciated the location, it was only a short walk from the city centre and I didn't have to deal with the noise of St. Mary's street. An awesome vibe and really excellent value, I wish my stay had been longer.

Disliked: I honestly had no dislikes. Maybe some curtains in the rooms that face east wouldn't go astray as the sun rising at 5am was an immediate wake up call.
