Liked: Great Location, Great Value, Nice comfy beds, good showers, security was top notch, own bar with pool table and laptops is really good - almost didnt leave!

Liked: Good fun. Clean, the staff were great (some more cheeky than others), the chillout room with TV was very laid back (complete with beanbags), good selection of movies to hire if you wanted and teh bar was good. Breaky a choice of rice bubbles and s couple of other cereals, toast, a few jams, yoghurt, fruit (yay bananas!) tea coffee, really pretty good.Just over the river from the center and surprisingly easy to find (even without a map and getting dropped off in the wrong place)

Liked: The location was great, near Central Station and Millennium Stadium. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was great. My only major complaint is the noise at night, that makes it impossible to sleep.

Liked: I realy liked that breakfast, I could choose 3 different cereals, toasts with several type of jams, fruits, milk, tea, coffe and orange juice.I didn't like the bathroom area. It was too small, no air, like a space cabin.

Liked: What a great hostel! Great location, gorgeous little row house. Public bar/pub downstairs - I was worried it would be noisy, but I didn't hear a thing, the dorms are very quiet. TV room and kitchen for guests, dorms had sinks in them which is helpful. Free secure parking out the back. Lockers are outside the rooms, but that's OK. Lots of tours and activites on offer, and breakfast included. Couldn't fault it. Thanks!

Liked: Loved staying here. The staff were all super nice there was free wifi, breakfast was great, the rooms were clean and nice. There was a kitchenette for guest use and a washer/dryer. common room was nice and comfy too.

Liked: i loved my stay here. was very friendly. having a bar was the best bonus! also good food in restaurant. even discount on food and alcohol during week! made some nice friends. the layout was great. comfy sofas. nice outside area. comfy bed. cant wait to go back!! really like cardiff! beautiful setting with river, lovely park, castle and millenium stadium. great shops bars and food......love the welsh accent too!

Liked: It is very near both the Angel Hotel and Cardiff General Railway Station, so suited me as I had come for the Welsh Athletics celebrations for the 3rd consecutive year. and I was able to watch some Welsh rugby matches on the large screen above the bar. The other people occupying the room were very friendly during both of the nights that I stayed. It was interesting on the first night to chat to 3 friendly South Koreans who were delighted when I told them that the first man to break 2hrs. 30 mins for the Marathon and won the 1936 Olympic Title, and knew he was Kiti Son who was a Korean although he was running for Japan. They left the next morning and later in the day, some more friendly people arrived. Everybody at breakfast, both mornings were very sociable. I spent my formative years in Wales and have visited many times. Nos Da is an ideal place to stay and the staff always have been very welcoming and helpful. I shall probably be staying again next year at about the same time. It was very enjoyable to meet and chat to old friends from former years when I competed in many races and Welsh championships over a period of 57years.
