DIRECTIONS: (From Cardiff Central Train Station)

By foot (6-10 minutes) main exit turn right. Pass taxi rank, head towards the Marriott Hotel. After 200 metres traffic lights / pedestrian crossing, cross over St Mary Street walking against traffic (i.e. on the right hand side) and continue straight down Custom House Street in direction of the very tall, curved white apartment block. Pass the Marriott (on your left) and then The Golden Cross Pub (on your left.) At the next traffic lights, cross over Bute Street and continue walking straight ahead. You can see the Big Sleep hotel (a 10 storey green glass building) on the right just beyond the apartment building.

DIRECTIONS: By Taxi (3 minutes)

The driver will not welcome your fare (having queued for ages) and are often reluctant to drop-off at Reception (which involves a u-turn on a busy duel carriageway.)

DIRECTIONS: (From Cardiff Bus Station)

By foot (6-10 minutes). Head towards Cardiff Central Train Station which is adjacent, away from the town centre and stadium. Follow directions above from the Train Station to The Big Sleep Hotel.

From the M4 take junction 29 (A48 (M) Cardiff East and South). At third junction take A4232 (Cardiff East and Docks). Stay in left had lane (do not go over flyover) Follow signs for City Centre. Take 2nd exit at roundabout under flyover (Newport Road) Continue straight for 1 mile over 1 roundabout and 4 sets of traffic lights. Road narrows and forks left (by Roath Court Funeral Home).Continue straight for 3/4 of a mile. (Lloyds TSB on right). At next set of lights, turn left into Fitzalan Place (A4160 Cardiff Bay). At 3rd set of traffic lights turn right in front of fire station. Straight over next set of lights, take left hand lane. The Big Sleep Hotel is immediately after the bridge, on left. Go through iron gates and up ramp to hotel car park and reception.

The Big Sleep Hotel has limited parking outside the hotel charged at £6 for 24 hours.
