Cwm Pennant Hostel is a 50 bed Family Run independent hostel offering relaxed friendly accommodation for individuals and groups set within stunning grounds. A full cooked or continental breakfast is included in our overnight price. Our self-catering kitchen is also available to all guests.

As part of the Outdoor UK Group we also offer residential adventure activities for a wide variety of groups ranging from families to schools and large corporate businesses. Our activities include:
Hill walking, rock climbing, canoeing, gorge scrambling and archery. Please contact us direct for further information and availability.

Reception opens from 16.30 for check-in and we ask that you contact us if you are going to arrive later than 21.30 so we can ensure a member of staff is available to greet you. There will be no check-in after 22.30

Accommodation Information

The hostel has one 14-bedded, one 10-bedded and one 8-bedded dormitories, as well as four 4-bedded rooms. A self-catering kitchen, cycle storage, a drying room and lounge facilities are provided. Breakfast is included in the overnight rate and is served in the dining room. Evening meals and packed lunches are available but must be pre-booked.

Location Information

Cwm Pennant Hostel is the perfect base to explore the southern areas of Snowdonia National Park. We are located 5 miles from Porthmadog. From the hostel you can walk onto the back of the Nantle Ridge and Moel Hebog. Rock climbing at Tremadog is just a couple of miles away. The stunning beaches and coves of the Llyn Peninsular are a short drive away. Just a couple of miles away in Tremadog and Garndolbenmaen are local pubs.
