Cwm Pennant Hostel is a 50 bed independent hostel offering relaxed accommodation for individuals and groups set within stunning grounds. A full cooked breakfast is included in overnight price. Currently, we do not have a self-catering kitchen. Access is provided to tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge and a microwave only.

As part of the Outdoor UK Group we also offer residential adventure activities for a wide variety of groups ranging from families to school’s and large corporate businesses. Our activities include:
hill walking, rock climbing, canoeing, gorge scrambling and archery. Please contact us direct for further information and availability.

Accommodation Information

The hostel has two 10-bedded and one 8-bedded dormitories and one 6-bedded and three 4-bedded rooms. Cycle storage, a drying room and lounge facilities are provided. Breakfast is included in the overnight rate and is served in the dining room. Evening meals and packed lunches are available.

Location Information

Cwm Pennant Hostel is the perfect base to explore the southern areas of Snowdonia National Park. We are located 5 miles from Porthmadog. From the hostel you can walk onto the back of the Nantle Ridge and Moel Hebog. Rock climbing at Tremadog is just a couple of miles away. The stunning beaches and coves of the Llyn Peninsular are a short drive away. Just a couple of miles away in Tremadog and Garndolbenmaen are local pubs.
