Liked: Hostel was very nicely presented and clean. Lovely to have free breakfast and tea and coffee. Was a little disappointed with a couple of things. We had a double room and a friend was staying the the dorms. There hadn't been enough room for her on the Sat to book a dorm room and so the owner currently said it was ok for her to stay in ours. She had however reserved a dorm room for the Sunday night. On arrival the owner told us that this was no longer available and she would of have to stay in our room again. Had he phoned and asked if this was ok, pehaps it wouldn't of seemed so cheeky, she had reserved it afterall. He also charged her full price for all the nights as well as us paying full price. When we tried to challenge this he was a little aggressive in his manner. Otherwise a very nice hostel Just double check they have actually reserved what you have asked for.

Liked: This place is a gem. It has been very tastefully refurbished, but still retains its olde worlde charm. The lockable safes in the room were a bonus, and the 'living room' packed with books and games was a thoughtful addition.

Liked: The hostel was awesome! It's really near to lots of interesting places in North Wales, and the hostel itself is less than 5 minutes walk to the Caernarfon castle! Location-wise, this hostel is superb! The service, is also fantastic! The staff are so friendly and they helped us out with many things. They're really committed to what they do to. They work really hard, and I've never seen them relaxing because they're so hardworking! So, don't think twice to book this hostel as it's worth the every pound you pay. It really feels like at home. RECOMMENDED!!

Liked: It's very cosy and you feel at home right away!!! Spacias rooms, lockers, nice livingroom and nice kitchen area! Overall very good!!

Liked: I wold like to thank Bob and his wife ( the owners of the hostel) for everything. A pleasant place where to stay, honestly speaking, they have offered me all the help I needed. You will find a pretty friendly and calm atmosphere there. It is worth to choose this place as accomodation, really.

Liked: Quite a surprise to find such a pleasant place to stay at reasonable cost in Caernarfon. I liked the building and the comfort and facilities were excellent. The breakfast could have been better, but that's a minor point.

Liked: We had a private twin room and were very comfortable. Hosts very welcoming. We just had a little problem locating Totters, the directions were accurate but there is only a small notice in the window to indicate which property is Totters. Definitely recommend it to others.

Liked: Spotlessly clean place, very relaxed atmosphere and plenty of hot water. We were made to feel very welcome and I would definitely go back if I'm ever in that area again.

Liked: Good location; availability of various board games for guests to entertain themselves with was a real plus. Also liked the free breakfast provision.Toilet facilities were a bit less impressive but ok.

Liked: A great place to stay I especially liked the cleanliness, facilities, and location - oh and the price! As well as the friendliness of the hired staff. What I didn't like was the noise - really bad! I was woken up every night by badly behaved guests and as the owners do not live in the same building nothing was done about it.

Liked: It's a really friendly hostel and extremely clean with modern, homely furnishings. The free breakfast is really good. The staff are really friendly and helpful as well. The location is excellent -right in the centre of Caernarfon with easy access to the mountains and Angelsey. I would highly recommend this hostel as it feels more like a B&B and is very good value for money.

Liked: This place is great! I had the ensuite room for my 3 yr old and myself. it had tv dvd player and a selection of dvds! tea making in room. great bathroom .. views over sea and town walls.. huge room with sofa and they made up single bed for my daughter. also had provision for more kids if needed. very clean. there was an iron and board if needed too. room was very nicely decorated. better value than the last 5 start hotel I stayed in! local hotels were soold out so wen tfor this option as was where i need to be location wise. very happy!
