Liked: Very easy to get to. Staff were brilliant. Easy to get into town from the hostel. All facilities you need.

Disliked: Decor slightly old looking - but nothing that could spoil our stay.

Liked: It was easy to find from the railwaystation, the room was tidy and the cooking facilities worked fine.

Disliked: Very low preasure in the shower.

Liked: we had room 1 which may have been refurbed recently. It was clean and well presented. The ensuite bathroom was also to a good standard.

Disliked: The communal areas were a bit grubby.

Liked: The location

Disliked: It needed a lick of paint, things needed attention, toilet roll holder was broken, mirror not on wall, there seemed to be a lot of mish mash furnicture in the lounge/kitchen that could have been organised better, The property on the whole looked and felt tired and the lighting was bad and there was beeping alarm sounds coming from the hall thoughout the night.

Liked: We stayed in a double ensuite room which was clean and well presented. The room was good value for money.

Disliked: The breakfast was disappointing.

Liked: the location was wonderful - right by the train station and only a bit of a walk onto the high street. the best part though was by far the staff and the regulars at the pub - they made the stay fabulous and i wish i had more time to see them!

Disliked: it was too bad that i couldn't stay longer.

Liked: Its pretty straight forward. In a hotel but the room is a bunk room. The beds are TERRIBLE but clean. Its a cute quiet little town and a bus ride to hay on wye.

Disliked: Beds are terrible. Check out was impossible because no one was around at 10 and there really is no breakfast. There is a small kitchen downstairs with ant infested bread for making toast.

Liked: Very friendly staff, comfortable beds and at a cheap price, can't grumble.

Disliked: It may be a good thing for some but, extreme proximity to the train station ment its in quite a noisy location.

Liked: The owner was friendly and you could get wifi

Disliked: The facilities were very poor. The sink was broken in our room, no toilet holder so the loo roll just rolled around the floor, not enough forks in the kitchen to eat our meal, no drying up cloths, a rude cleaner. Honestly, I could not recommend this place although the owner was friendly.

Liked: Clean, Tidy Room. Fresh Bathroom.

Disliked: Noise from Stag Party, who also tried to get into our room several times in the night - but we had locked our room from the inside....No malice, they were just "merry"

Disliked: it is a walk to town, although a lighter one since bags are already dropped off room smelled like cat pee thin pillow
