Kristina BudimanMy husband and me is spending our honeymoon in Vietnam. This is our first time to visit Vietnam and we know nothing about it. When we arrived at Luan Vu, the staffs (Thao and Cham Ti) were so friendly and helpfull. They helped us to book one day tour to chu chi tunnel, gave a lot of information about Vietnam and even they booked us tickets to go to Na Thrang. The hotel room is large with hot water, tv, freezer, air con, cozzy bed and very clean. Breakfast is OK too...so with money that I spent,I got more value from Luan Vu. I would recommend Luan Vu to all of backpackers and other people who want to visit Vietnam. Cheers...Kristina and Petter |

Kevin CromeThis is a great little guesthouse. It is ideally located in the hustle & bustle of District 1, but it is down a quite alley so there is little noise at night. Delightful, friendly and helpful staff who do not push their own tours. I booked my own tours elsewhere, but from what I could see, their tours looked good value, & speaking to other people at the guesthouse, they were better than the ones I went on. My double room was a decent size & spotlessly clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending this guesthouse....in fact I have already done so to travellers I met heading south to HCM (hello Steve & Gemma) |

Julia Ahrensthe place was very clean, the location excellent and the staff the most helpful during our travel, they helped us planning our whole trip. Thanks again!!!!! the only down turn was that except for the triple bed rooms none of the rooms had a window, but guess that's ok for staying in the heart of Saigon :) |

AITOR MATEThis guesthouse is just value for money. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the guesthouse is a family business with a charming ambience. Considering the price, it really makes sense. Rooms are not very big but, yes, they are clean. Location is also good, you can walk your way to Benh Than Market and downtown Saigon. Unfortunately, It is placed in an alley not easy to find. But this happens with every guesthouse in the area. Also, Pha Ngu Lao area is quite noisy. Sleeping after 5 am will be virtually impossible. However, if you're decided to stay in that area, Luan Vu is an option I would recommend. |

John McNaneyI met quite a few people in District 1 of HCMC and many of them complained about the trouble they had getting a good nighs sleep in a very lively area. Not a problem with this guest house - my room was silent. Apart from this the staff are very friendly and helpful and will give you good advice on money saving deals on tours and airport taxis. A very basic breakfast but considering the cost of my stay this was to be expected. Besides, great food is available withing a two minute walk in any direction. Good people to have around you - I will be returning at the end of my stay in Vietnam. |
