Liked: The room was excellent, the staff extremely friendly, the owner was conscientious and extremely professional. The price of the room was right in with other hotels in the area, but a great value for the money. Best of all, it is located ideally in a very active, fun section of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). As a backpacker looking for a good time, this is where you will want to park yourself for a few days. Close to all the attractions.

Disliked: There is nothing I did not like.

Liked: Great people, very clean super location ... travel agent for tour, resto, bars markets

Disliked: reno going on next door..... not the hotels fault though. Carting 25Kg up 4 flight of very steep stairs.

Liked: This is a nice clean & spacious hostel in an excellent location (in an alley off the main drag), the staff were welcoming & helpful & i will be using them again if i return to HCMC

Liked: It was a good location and not very noisy because it was down a side street. The hotel was nice and clean and they would help you book tours and buses even if it was a couple of dollars more than booking it from the many tourist places around Saigon. Homely feel to it. Laundry services.

Liked: The staff was very friendly! The first night we arrived my bag was stolen and they were really helpful. They gave us a new room key and safe key as well as helped us file a report of our stolen goods. The rooms were very clean. The location was great. Everything we needed was within a couple minutes walk.

Disliked: Our room didn't have any natural light, so it was hard to know when to wake up in the morning!

Liked: I had a very pleasant time in Luan Vu Hotel. The reception girl was so kind and helped me solve some problems. The boss of this hotel was also a friendly person who offered a free service that I can put my bag 8 days after I came back to Sai Gon again and serve me with a glass of lemon juice. I know it was not big money but brought warm feeling to me. I really want to recommend this lovely hotel to all my friends and all the people who plan to have a trip in Sai Gon.

Liked: Central location in District 1 near many restaurants and agencies. Helpful staff and good facilities including free wifi and internet. they can book tours and transport for you even though they're not the cheapest.

Liked: the place is exactly appeared to be what is mentioned in the website. price is reasonable too. however, i would suggest the hostel to have more variety in the breakfast menu so that the visitors who stay up to many days would be bored for the same menu.

Liked: Luan Vu is a great place to stay, quite central and many restaurants and bars around, but still quiet. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there and recommend it to other travellers.
