Liked: The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The location was perfect, within walking distance of many of the attractions in Ho Chi Mihn. I would definately stay here again. Good value for your money.

Liked: The hotel is very clean, We travel a lot but this is the cleanest hotel ever.They clean the sheets, towels and room every day.

Liked: Good location in the backpacker's alley where the vehicles' hornnings has been much dampened. I'd stayed in 2 separate rooms ( for 3 pax) which have both air-conditioner and a fan, with clean bed liner & towels as well as attached bathroom with heater.

Liked: The location was definately the main reason we picked this hostel, and the staff were excellent very hospitable. Overall a great stay!

Liked: The staff at Phan lan are smiley and always ready to help you find a tour or some transportation to anywhere you want to go. However, every time I went to pay for something they mysteriously never had the right change and I always got shortchanged or they used an exchange rate that was always in their favor no matter what currency I was trying to use. I liked everything else about the place so if I were to stay there again I'd need to make sure I have exact change every time.

Liked: Hotel in backpackers area, away from traffic noise (in small alley). Hotel has 4 floors, no lift. Rooms are simple but clean with good tv, good beds and fan as well as AC. Breakfast is really simple (bread, butter, jam, bananas) and there is only one PC with internet available. Staff speaks good English and is helpful and friendly. Pay in US$ to avoid surcharge of 3% when settling the bill in VN Dong. We rented motorbikes from the hotel without any problem. (US$ 6,- per day) and went to the Cu Chi tunnels ourselves. Very nice experience, despite the heavy trafic and slow roads to get in and out the city.

Liked: Really friendly staff, clean place to stay.Located in the middle of the backpackers area.The breakfast needs to be improved on, you get a cup of tea and a piece of bread!Apart from that all good

Liked: Most important, it is clean. The girl of the staff was very helpfull and very nice, she laughs a lot.. Ther is a lot to do in the surrounding, good pubs and restaurants. Real place for bagpackes.

Liked: This is a really nice place to stay in Saigon. The location is perfect and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms spacious and clean. The prices are fair. You hardly can get more in this price range!
