Sheng Mei LingThe Lucky Eden Hotel and staff were wonderful. As new arrivals in the bustling city of Hanoi without travel plans, we needed assistance. Through the recommendations of the Sale manager and Reception staff, we committed to tours to Halong Bay and Sapa....the transport arrangements and accommodation for each was outstanding. Not to mention the Lucky Eden Hotel accommodation and service. We were very impressed with all aspects of the Hotel and would highly recommend it to all travellers....price wise it is excellent value for money. They are efficient, friendly and accommodating to your individual needs and the Hotel is spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel and appreciate the efforts by staff to assist with pick ups and travel plans. We will stay there again when next in Hano |

Abrahim JonathanHere we are, half the way around the world and very very far from home. To be quite honest, it was a little bit daunting to think that we were going to fly around the planet and live a drastic change in lifestyle and culture for 3 months to come We had decided to start our adventure with northern Vietnam from where we would journey all the way south and then visit Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar. After a very long flight and a 45 minutes cab ride we finally arrived at the Hanoi Lucky Eden Hotel. We had made reservations at this hotel based on the very positive reviews from other travellers on this very site. Well... They were right !! Our trip of a lifetime could not have started better. What we found here is a team of amazing people who are really treating us like honored guests. They are very nice, polite, helpful, resourceful, and they clearly helped alleviate our pre-arrival anxiety. For all of you around the world who are planning to visit Vietnam and would like to start with a little feeling of being at home abroad, this hotel is definitely a great start ! By the way.. from a value standpoint, you cannot find better.. central location, very clean room, airco, in room fridge with supply of beer and sodas etc .Very good value for your money !!! |

Gavin RosonWe spent about 6 nights at this hotel using it as our base for several trips in the area. From the moment we arrived the hotel manager Mr Le Tuan and his staff made us feel welcome and showed a genuine interest in making our visit a pleasent one. Although we were on the top floor, which meant walking up 6 floors of steps, we still loved our room which had a view of the city and was a little bit further away from the street noise. The room also had its own desktop computer with free internet access which is pretty much unheard of in any hotel! The location is great and price very good value. Fantastic hotel. |

Matthew GrahamGood location and free internet. Wasn't what we were expecting from the photos shown on this website - a little old and worn around the edges. It was fairly cheap for the location but we would have expected somewhere a little nicer for the money we paid. Free breakfast is disappointing - you get a baguette and a greasy fried egg and that's it. Staff very friendly - they don't speak much English but they try their best and they made our stay very welcoming. |

Amanda FredericksWe had a great stay at the hotel. The staff were very accamodating to our needs. Hot showers, good location with a short walk to the main areas. The free breakfast was excellent, the laundry service was great, and the price was very reasonable. Clean rooms, free internet, I recommend staying here |

Fernandez hernandezvery clean, very good location, This is a great option for solo travellers. The communal areas are great to meet other backpackers and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Booking ahead is a good idea as a lot of people have to be turned away who haven't prebooked.excellent travel / tour arrangements as well. You will be arranged everywhere and every package tours you need. Highly recommend ! |

Customer reviewWe had initially booked three nights at this Hotel, however, we arranged to go to Halong Bay after the 2nd night and staff had agreed that we coud leave our bags, then on the morning of our departure, one of the staff became so nasty and told us not to return and to take out bags with us. Not a very pleasant person at all. I was glad to leave. |

Customer reviewSmall family run hotel with only a handful of rooms - all of which are very comfy. Great location in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Free pickup from bus depot even when our bus dropped us at the wrong one! Simple but hot breakfast included, and brought up to your room. Wide range of tours available at the booking desk in the lobby. |
