Liked: THE BEST BOUTIQUE HOTEL AND HOSTEL IN CENTER OF THE OLD QUARTER Conveniently located in the backpacker's district, food, bars and major sightseeing spots were just around the corner. From the airport approx 45 min by taxi (fare approx 250.000VND - never more than 260.000! ) to the old market DONG XUAN market approx 1min by foot, from there maybe another 10~15min to get Cathedral, and Hochiminh complex Palace etc. STAFFS ARE SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL , BREAKFAST INCLUDED AND EXCELLENT DELICOUS .

Liked: "One of the best run hostel in SE Asia. Very clean, newly built, all rooms have A/C and free wifi. Staff helpful and friendly, the owner has a travel agency so services are offered in this area too with (seemingly) reasonable price. Very good value for my money. "

Liked: Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly; they assisted us to organise tours and hotels for later in our trip. Brillliant location if you want to be in the hub of local life; and not noisy at night because the local market was closed.. The Guesthouse felt safe and comfortable.I will recommend David Guesthouse to my friends who are like- minded travelers.

Liked: The staff were very helpful. So helpful that even though we asked for the help to get train tickets to Ninh Binh they said we should take a 2hr bus to our next resort, we protested that we'd rather get the train but they said the bus would definately take 2 hours to cover the 88km. It took 5.5 whilst picking up tour groups, we were told that they couldn't drop is at our next hotel but at a nearby town. In the end we were dropped off in the middle of a town we didn't know and had to get a cab 15km back towards Hanoi for our next place. I'm going back to Hanoi, but won't stay there again.

Liked: Good location, 10min walk to Hoan Kiem lake. Helpful staff and nice free breakfast. Rooms are big but could be cleaner, esp. the bathroom. One room had quite a lot of mold on the walls and ceiling. Also, we had to change our room because the bed was inhabited by bugs! This hostel has potential if the friendly staff pays more attention to hygiene.

Liked: The gaggle of boys that ran the place were so helpful and friendly. We felt very safe. The singing clocks in the rooms chimed in the hour with a different ditty each time. Great place to stay!

Liked: in in over 5 hotels in Vietnam. We were high up so not much noise, cable TV and free fruit and breakfast. Lovely staff, doing as much as they can to help and book things for you. Like all things in Vietnam, though, the tours were over exagerated. ...? I Love This Hotels

Liked: Price is very low and rooms are clean. But still not sure to understand why this hotel has 3 different names: World Hotel, David Guesthouse and Boutique Hotel...(marketing value or scam value :) ) We wanted to stay more time in the hotel due to low price and cleaness, but it was "full" after we said we wouldn't need any tour with them... I guess that's part of the game but would recommend travellers not to say their plans to staff if you want to see a smile each time you get across reception.

Liked: the staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly, made us feel so welcome. they also booked our halong bay trip and our bus so we could just enjoy our time here. very clean aswell and good breakfast...oh and free internet and wi-fi. cant complain!

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Staff organised a little party and invited to beers and food. It was very nice from them part. I highly recomend it. But have in mind it s an hostel of 5$ px, it s not the Hilon.

Liked: My stay at the THE WORLD HOTEL was very enjoyable and without trouble. The staff was enthusiastic and very friendly. The front desk staff had very good English skills. I do however believe that it would improve customer service if more of the staff had more then a limited understanding of English. I would sometimes see other tourists trying to make themselves understood without success WE recomment for THE WORLD HOTEL.Thank you very much to Mr.TONY HOANG (manager of THE WORLD HOTEL who gave us all informations in HANOI and HA LONG trip) I LOVE THIS HOTEL

Liked: Staff were very helpful, they arrange the man went to airport pick up us. They always smile and run out to help us and sent to us the best information about the location, Tours and bus tickets are good value for money from the tour desk. Halong bay was perfect, no need to book tours with anyone else (They guarantee for the tours and make everything right way). Rooms were clean, large and comfortable. Thanks for everything.

Liked: Lovely little hotel in the heart of Hanoi. David Guesthouse 4 was our first hotel in Vietnam, staying for 4 nights we were given first class service from start to finish. We arranged collection from the airport which was a great idea and the driver stopped during our journey to the hotel so we could take a few photos. Once arriving at the hotel we were given welcome drinks, the rooms are lovely, great selection of breakfast dishes, the staff are also very helpful with suggested some amazing places to eat.
