Customer review"One of the best run hostel in SE Asia. Very clean, newly built, all rooms have A/C and free wifi. Staff helpful and friendly, the owner has a travel agency so services are offered in this area too with (seemingly) reasonable price. Very good value for my money. " |

Customer reviewThe rooms were good quality and the service from the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much effort and always delivered with a smile, After a day of sightseeing it is so good to sit while the staff provide a refreshing drink as part of the service. If they don't have it available, they will immediately go and get it. The tours were well organised and we were continually provided above average service - Thanks Tony Hoang . Breakfast was part of the room charges and were a great way to start the day. To Tony and staff - thank you for the great time and all the willing assistance you provided. A lot of hotels can learn from you. It is a home away from home |

Wai ming YongThe beautiful WORLD hotel. It is conveniently located in the old quarter, 10 minutes away from the Hoan Kiem Lake and has everything outside their front steps. The Tourism office is also at the hotel. Staff is helpful and friendly especially who is very kind and has given us great suggestion like where to eat authentic Vietnamese food such as “banh cuon” and “sticky rice”. Breakfast is included. For those who enjoy a nice cold drink, you are in luck! There is a fridge in the room |

Customer reviewMy stay at the The World Hotel was very enjoyable and without trouble. The staff was enthusiastic and very friendly. The front desk staff had very good English skills. I do however believe that it would improve customer service if more of the staff had more then a limited understanding of English. I would sometimes see other tourists trying to make themselves understood without success ''' I Love This The World Hotel '' |

Customer reviewNice place to stay. Staff is very helpful and honest. For everybody who wantsto visit Hanoi: beware of the guys who say that the hostel is fully booked and take you to another hotel... Most of the time that is not the truth! |

Customer reviewThis hotel was absolutely, hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The service was picture perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and super welcoming. In fact they were so friendly, they invited me to eat their home cooked dinners with them whenever I was at the hotel for dinner. The staff would cook their own meals and eat together family style, and on the first day, I was already welcomed to join them as part of the family. I learned so much about the culture and the lifestyle of the Vietnamese people from talking to the staff. The rooms were clean and in tip top shape. If you do order food at the hotel, they will cook it fresh and hot immediately for you. I became friends with a few members for the staff and went to the night market with one of them one night and around the city of Hanoi with another friend one morning. Tony Hoang and David Toan, Mr.Lee Quang , Kevin Lam are a few of the names of the staff, and if you see them tell them Tony Hoang says "Hi!!". They will know who I am. David Toan was an exceptional receptionist and I will never forget the time when I came down to the front desk on my first day there and was scolded for not speaking Vietnamese when I knew how to speak Vietnamese. (I am a Vietnamese American, but I left Vietnam when I was two and have never been back to the country.) Tony Hoang in a friendly, jesting manner scolded me for speaking English and said I was really an American and not a Vietnamese. I have never been at a hotel where a staff member would so quickly befriend me and jest with me in such a way. I absolutely loved it! Mr.Lee Quang was also another good friend and his sense of humor is one to love. I also met the owner of the The World Hotel and got exceptional attention from her. Her emails sent to me when I booked the hotel were personal and caring as she was watching out for my well being when I landed in Hanoi to not be swindled by any taxi drivers. I ended up buying her some fresh seafood from Ha Long Bay and I'd sure like to think I'd made a friend with her as well. Don't even think about whether you should book at the hotel. Just instantly book, because rooms are almost always full and never will you find such a great staff, owner and place to reside in Vietnam!! Ilove The World Hotel '' |
