Liked: The rooms are big and clean, the staff is very welcoming and helpful, and the tour with Mr. ROT was definitely a highlite in this trip! If you get the opportunity to do his "surprise tour" don't miss it! When he says "I will show you and tell you everything about Vietnam"- believe him, it's true!

Liked: It was clean, well located and had a great character about it. The staff were very friendly (organised a tour and our bus transfer) as well as including breakfast. We had a minor problem with our door and after speaking to them it was fixed immediately - great place to stay.

Disliked: The pillows are hard as rocks!

Liked: Everything, very clean and spacious for the money I paid. Mr. Rot's private tour IS THE HIGHLIGHT of this place though. The best tour I've had in southeast asia so far. Off the beaten track and simply amazing. The staff is extremely friendly. I recommend it to anyone.

Liked: For the money it is extremely spacious and comfortable. A refreshing break from the hostels we have been staying at in our travels. Definitely more a hotel than a hostel, but at hostel prices. The tours on offer were fantastic. Motorbike tours into the mountains to meet hill tribes, only on offer to hotel guests and visiting places off the usual tourist beat. The guide was fantastic and had grown up in the village we visited so was able to give us great insights and talk the dialect of the locals.

Liked: superb hotel! if you are going to da lat spend your time at pink villa. best place during me and my friends 2 and a half weeks in Vietnam. both rot and jay are 2 sweet guys that will help you with everything you want. and go with rot on a tour, one of the best things we did in Vietnam. more fun and educative then both sapa and halong bay together imo

Disliked: nothing really, breakfast might been abit small but that was not a huge problem.

Liked: Clean and safe and the younger staff were very helpful (but the older woman in charge was very abrupt - with both guests and staff)

Disliked: The basic breakfast and the fact that Dalat in general is probably the most expensive area of Vietnam for tourist services (hotels and day trips)We paid the same in Hoi An for a similar property but it had superb endless buffet breakfasts, a swimming pool, a great nearby beach and a free shuttle bus to the old town. So not good value - but this probably applies to most hotels in Dalat.

Liked: The rooms are huge and extremely clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful! The tour with Rot on the motorbikes was a highlight of our travels in Vietnam! The best place in Da Lat!

Liked: This hotel is amazing and beautiful for the price you pay for the rooms. The staff are super friendly, I didn't feel this welcome at any of the other places in Vietnam. The room we were given was huge with a balcony that offered an amazing view. We went on the tour with Rot which is more expensive than the others in Dalat but it was well worth it, it was a great day out seeing the country side of Dalat and also visiting his home village. I can't recommend this place enough.

Disliked: My only complaint is that the internet does not work very often. The WI-FI in the room didn't work at all and the computers in the foyer were either really, really slow or didn't work and would cut out half way through doing something.

Liked: The atmosphere was friendly and staff very helpful. Rot is the main person of the family who organises a great tour. This is 10 dollars more expensive than you'd pay in the town but worth every penny. He has good personal elements where you go to places others would not be able to do. Very friendly and helpful making your stay memorable.

Disliked: Breakfast is simple. However, this seems to be the trend whatever you pay..

Liked: The location was good, although there are many hotels right next to it

Disliked: When we arrived our bed sheets were damp and the bathroom smelt which made our whole room smell terrible. There was a strong draft coming from the windows which made it quite cold. The staff seemed friendly at the start of our stay but we quickly realised that as soon as there was a problem they were incredibly rude and not willing to help. I gave my clothes to their laundry service where one of my tops got completely ruined as they must have put it on something rusty. When I tried to complain, they tried to convince me that it was my fault. What annoyed me most, was not the top, which can be replaced, but their attitude towards me. They were shouting at me infront of other guests and they then proceeded to insult me by saying my clothes needed replacing anyway. This hotel doesn't know anything about customer service! It completely ruined our stay in Dalat. Whilst we were there we heard the owners shouting at other guests too. It was one of our most expensive hotels in Vietnam but it was by far the worst. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Liked: The staff (i.e. extended family) at this hostel make the place - they are unbelievably friendly, helpful and kind. We had some problems with ongoing travel plans and they went out of their way to help us. Rot is great and a brilliant singer! We also did the tour and really enjoyed it.

Disliked: The breakfast could be better - a buffet rather than someone serving you a single baguette and hot drink. Also there isn't really a communal area, but Rot did encourage a group of us to go out to dinner together which is great for getting to know people.

Liked: The staff were friendly, the hotel was really clean, the rooms were huge and it was nice to have a window with a view for a change.

Disliked: The shower stayed hot for about a minute, sometimes it wasn't even hot at all. The day tour arranged by the hotel was fun, if a bit expensive for the amount of content in the day (busy morning, not much to do in the afternoon).

Liked: Great family run accomodation, staff (family) are very friendly, accomodation is well situated, clean and has good facilities. The day tour organised through the accomadation was run by another family member and was excellent, very unlike most Vietnemese tours in that it didn't take in an array of people trying to sell you stuff!

Liked: We actually wanted to stay for 2 nights, but our plans had changed and so we decided very spontaneous to stay one night longer. We just asked the night before we left and it was no problem. Apart from that, we had a really nice stay. The staff is very helpful and attentive. The tour, which they offer is definitely worth the money! And for the included breakfast you have a good choice.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, much more than you would expect! They speak English very well and are thus able to help you with any questions you might have. The free breakfast is good. We had a two king size beds in our room and a little balcony. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. What I liked most were all the little extras we didn't expect. for example when the staff noticed that we tried to dry some clothes on the balcony, they gave us hangers. One night, the owner even took us to a karaoke bar. They also offer tours by motorbike to the mountains which are slightly more expensive than the ones easy riders offers but you also get better value for your money. They took us to the mountain village where they were born and explained a lot about Vietnamese cultures. We ended up staying at Villa Pink House longer than we had planned because we enjoyed it so much. Thank you for a great stay!

Disliked: I can't think of anything that I really disliked. While we stayed there, the internet wasn't working but I'm sure, they've fixed it by now.

Liked: The staff are really friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is peacefull. The rooms are great, so big with lots of windows - its a bargain for the price. Rot's bike tour was a lot of fun and only offered to guests. Its an experience you dont want to miss! I'll be coming back for sure and recommending it to all my friends.

Liked: Loved the motorbike tour (offered only for guests i think) - the owner Rot took us himself and he is so friendly and fun that you dont feel like a tour group- the whole place is a family run affair so feels very friendly. Rot's brother Ben took us out for dinner or to a bar with other guests so met a lot of people and the rooms themselves were great- big, aircon, tv, balconyy, good view and a strong, hot shower which was heaven! Probably my favourite place we stayed and Da Lat itself is beautiful

Disliked: Nothing although maybe steer clear of the 'vietnamese chocolate' on the tour!

Liked: Has to be the best place to stay in Dalat! The owner, Rot was born in one of the minority villages so if you go on one of his bike tours you get to see the real highlands. It was a great experience meeting the locals, talking and sharing tea in their home, with Rot acting as intepreter. The rooms were clean and well lit, a steaming hot shower with fantastic pressure!
