Liked: The best things about hostel Maria-A38 are extremely helpfull stuff, great breakfast, cleaness and safety. Atmosphere is very friendly. Hostel is quite close(20 min walking or 5 min by cab) to big shopping mall, bars, pampatar beach and Hilton hotel where you can rent a car.

Disliked: Sometimes no hot water.

Liked: The house is a nice place and my room was comfortable. There was air conditioning, a mini-fridge, and a great, roomy shower. The staff was very helpful. (The house is a little hard to find; you might want to tell you taxi driver that it is set back from the street.)

Liked: Romulo, and Maria were super hosts for this beautiful property. Gave us heaps of advice for seeing the island, and not getting lost/ripped off, or wasting time. Although it took a while to get to the best beaches, this place was by far the nicest available, and buses are cheap and quite regular, so it wasn't a problem. It was really a home away from home for us, with all the comforts you could hope for. Outdoor Indoor kitchen was really well equipped and a different breakfast everyday was yummy! Loved the two guard poodles - super cute!

Liked: I can high recommend this place. A very nice family; Romulo was very helpfull. The organisation of the pick up service was excellent. The breakfast of Maria was great (pan cakes, cheese, fruit salad, fresh, coffee, tea, scrambled eggs....very, very delicious.And it was also allowed to use the kitchen!!! I met there very nice people from Norway and USA. The areas is great (Restaurants, Sambil (shopping mall) and the supermarket are very close. Thank you all for this wonderfull stay at your posada. I felt like I was at home.

Liked: Fantastic place! Very nice and friendly people, family atmosphere and the best breakfast. Very goog location: near a big supermarket, also close to the bus stop where you can get to the beach (about 10 minutes). The best place for a holiday!!!

Liked: Great hostel! Near a good shopping Plaza where you can get to a big supermarket, and there are heaps of taxis and buses around to take you to Porlamar or the beaches. Romulo is great, pick up from Ferry or airport is included, and he can organise good value tours and trips out.

Liked: First there is too say that "hostel" not really fit for the casa de maria... it´s even more than´n hostel - i had 4star hotel rooms in luxus hotels in europe like Hilton, Interconti etc...for the 8x price and the room in marias was much nicer, cleaner and the stuff is not stuff it´s a family there - really outstanding and high recommend in any point
