Turtle Bay Resort boasts 2 acres of gardens and 120 meters of waterfront with plenty of secluded areas in which to lose yourself, situated in Turtle Bay, the north shore of the bay faces partially open sea with very good snorkelling and diving, whilst the south side faces the inner bay with calm, azure, waters best suited for canoeing and swimming.
We have an array of activities to suit every taste and fill every day with fun such as canoeing, cycling, snorkelling and our well known circus programs. All our rooms have ocean views and are spacious and tastefully decorated.
Our restaurant menu has both gourmet and inexpensive choices and our bar provides regular entertainment to make sure that day or night, you are never bored. Our restaurant menu includes both inexpensive choices as well as gourmet options. Daily specials are provided to make sure you don’t run out of choice. A kids menu is also available.
Our bar is open all day and into the night. We have regular entertainment with a variety of acts from Australia and overseas. There is always a surprise or two in store, you never know when your host, Fatt-Matt will surprise you with one of his acrobatic antics. And if you are in for something different, try our very own “Upside-down cocktail”.

We have two pools, one for adults and a shallower pool for kids.

At Turtle Bay Resort, we have an array of activities to suit every taste and fill every day with fun. How about canoeing to the neighbouring island, cycling to the fabulous blue holes or snorkelling on the northern reef? After something else? There is also circus! There is plenty to do but of course, lazing on a sunlounge on the beach is always available!

Circus:
Welcome to the home of Lunar Circus, Vanuatu. Lunar Circus is an Australian company founded by your host, Matt Yates in 1995. Lunar is well known in Australia for their circus training rograms as well as their shows and their annual circus festival which takes place in WA every January. At Turtle Bay, your children and yourself can experience circus through the following programs:
One-week circus workshops
Held during the schools holidays. Designed for beginners to advanced. You can enrol your child and relax on the beach while they have a fantastic and safe time in the hands of our experienced instructors. Must be booked in advance.
Daily Classes
Daily classes in juggling, balance, basic acrobatics and aerials are available on a per class basis.
Sunday’s Kids Circus Session
Have lunch and spend your afternoon relaxing on the bar’s deck or sunbathing by the beach while your kids enjoy a great and fun time in the circus learning new skills. Open to everyone.
Skill share and performers festival
For performers. The intensive one-week program will be an opportunity for performers to share their skills, to teach and be taught, work on their current performances, create new ones and network.
Looking for adventure?:
Adventure can be found organically wherever you go, from cycling to the local village or the impressive Blue Holes, to hiking in the Northern Ranges.
We can also arrange canoe and camping equipment rental if you would like to get away for a couple of days and explore the coast from the water.
Any other adventure ideas? Just ask, if we can do it, we will.
Tours:
We can arrange any tour you require. Spend a day in Luganville, dive the Coolidge, visit the famous Champagne Beach or the Millennium Caves, there is plenty to do!
Your Hosts: Originally from Spain and England, Patricia and Matt have been living in Australia for the last 20 years. Back in Australia, Matt is the founder and director of The Lunar Circus company running since 1995. Searching for the tropical dream, they landed in Vanuatu a few years back and decided to make it their home. Every January, they return to Australia to host their annual WA Circus Festival and master class program in Margaret River, a great month of circus, music and comedy that culminates in a three-day camping festival.
Turtle Bay Resort is their pacific island dream and they will love to share it with you!
