Liked: Location is not so bad as the metro trip to Columbia Height is very easy. Free laundry (with your detergent)

Disliked: No lockers, rooms don't close, cheap beds, dirty floor, very poor WiFi .. All of these just comfort. The place was very strange, mainly because there's a lot of long term weird peoples who don't like be disturbed by few days travellers ..

Liked: The property is neat, it has a big kitchen where you can cook your own food, there are also two lounges with a big TV. The beds are very comfortable. Friendly atmosphere.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: THat I left a day early to get to another Hostel.

Disliked: Very dirty the water was cold for my shower. The Bathrooms were disgusting.

Liked: Had a very nice lounge downstairs with leather seats & digital TV.

Disliked: Staff were unhelpful and not very pleasant. They didn't make you feel welcome. It was IMPOSSIBLE to find. Literally took us both 2 hours of wandering around asking locals (of whom none knew it existed). No signs. Located in a dodgy area. Too far from the city.

Liked: It is not a party hostel but instead has lots of e.g. interns staying for longer periods of time. This suited me fine as I was in DC for an academic conference.

Disliked: The lack of lockers in the room and the fact that there was no locking mechanism on the room door.

Liked: The atmosphere, it was like staying at a friends house. I also liked the kitchen in which you can store your food, use fridge and microwave

Disliked: There is nothing I dislike about it.

Liked: Great location, nice quiet place. I was traveling alone and liked the female bunk beds option. Big kitchen if you wanted to cook, computer to use, nice tv lounge areas. I would stay here again if I'm in DC.

Liked: Staff was very friendly. Great Location nearby Downtown.

Disliked: The bathroom wasn't clean and the neighboorhood a little bit strange.

Liked: I thought the neighborhood was great after spending the day in touristy areas. walking distance is the U street area which is fantastic to go for drinks, eat or just hang out. also nearby was the national zoo, a 15 minute walk from the hostel. The people at the hostel were super friendly and super helpful. I thought that there were a lot of longer term residents there vs tourists, but all were very nice. the facilities were clean, a big kitchen and plenty of fridge space, clean bathrooms and common space.

Disliked: I thought the bedroom area needed cleaning or something. I had allergies during my entire stay when I would return to the hostel at night. (the allergies would clear up when I was outside and upon my return home).

Liked: nice old building, a bit far off from the DC tourist sights, but close to the night light in Adam's Morgan. Most of the guest stay there for a longer period, so you get familiar with the people there, but as most people work somewhere in DC it's not the ideal hostel for having parties. Thus, calm atmosphere, clean and big kitchen.

Disliked: Its far away from the main sites but very close to Metro. Didn't feel safe in the neighborhood late at night.

Liked: Its cleanliness, and congenial staff.

Disliked: I was only here for 1 day and night, I found nothing there to dislike on the contrary if found my stay a pleasant one.

Liked: Restroom is clean and tidy. Bedding is cool. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable.

Disliked: There is no lock available in each room although we didn't encounter robbery the time we visited.

Liked: it was a pleasure to stay at the DC Trakker, the staff was so friendly and helpfull...i just can recomend it!

Disliked: you shouldn`t arrive by car, the parking situation over there is just bad, so better take buses or trains.
