Liked: It was a great location for going out and many fun bars literally at the doorstep with very cheap nights out. Reasonably close to several transport options, though staff's directions were a little vague so I'd recommend checking a map if you don't know where to go!

Disliked: It was in a great area but in my time there were not a lot of fun characters to go out with. Also, the curtains weren't great and it was loud from the bars so it was a bit hard to sleep.

Liked: I'm not that positive.

Disliked: I had booked for three persons, but we could not stay in the same room. We vere divided into two groups (2-+1) The second night, was the one of us asked to move to another bed. And it was not on debate.

Disliked: The guy who worked on the front desk was CRAZY. Also it smelt and the blankets they gave me were stained and had holes in (we weren't allowed to use our own sleeping bags). It was an absolute dive but I suppose you get what you pay for.

Liked: Location, price, bathrooms (although there weren't enough), staff was helpful, large enough kitchen and common room, with flat screen and cable.

Disliked: Floors were slanted, carpets were old and musty, beds creaked and everything looked old and slightly unclean...

Liked: The hostel is close to bars and shops in the Adams Morgan district. The size of the hostel makes it easy to meet fellow travelers.

Disliked: The hostel was dirty and they had white powered sprinkled around our bedroom (an infestation of some kind). One of the staff was watching TV and playing games while on duty. I wasn't given sheets or a towel on check in and had to sleep with no sheets as there were no staff available at 11PM.

Liked: Guests interacted readily. Staff works with guests to accommodate needs. This is a fairly quiet place which is lacking at many hostels.

Disliked: Would like a general mixing area.

Liked: It was not small and not too big. Old school kind of hostel. The staff was good. A bit off beat but they help you out. Great area to out at night and easy to get around Washington DC

Liked: I liked the location and the nice bars in the area. The staff was nice too.

Liked: I had an awesome time here. Steve, the owner, is a riot and a really helpful guy too. The location was pretty central, with lots of bars, restaurants and nightclubs around. Not too far from the sights either. I would definitely stay here again.

Disliked: Adam left no negative feedback.

Liked: really nice location, in a safe and bar, restaurant areas. compared to the price, not a bad choice for those on a budget

Disliked: to be honest, not very clean, sleeping on the bed makes me nervous all the time. bedroom smells badly. and could be noisy at night, with only one blanket, sorta cold at night, the so-called free offered breakfast basically is just nothing. and the internet speed kills me

Liked: It was relatively close to the metro system and was located on a busy street full of good restaurants.

Disliked: There was no lockers in the room to keep things safe.

Liked: I loved the atmosphere. It seemed more like a giant boding house than a hostel. Made friends had fun didn't have to use provided keys to keep my iPad safe.

Disliked: The only bad thing about the place was that it was next to a few clubs and there was no set breakfast.

Liked: LOVED the location. The first place we stayed in the whole of USA which had great cafes and shops on your door step. Only stayed for one night, but could have easily stayed for longer.

Disliked: The rooms were a little crowded. Breakfast is just toast. Not the most tidy. (But fine for any backpacker)

Liked: the bedsheets were old school. i slept under 101 dalmatians sheets! :) breakfast was alright. had to toast the bread so it was not frozen. and milk and orange was available.

Disliked: no drop off. but guy did honour the agreement by giving me $5 to get the bus.

Disliked: The staff are nice but can be short tempered.

Disliked: - Too few toilets/ bathrooms, which were not all that clean. - The kitchen is very limited

Liked: Excellent location for pubs and bars in Adam's Morgan.

Disliked: If you want a quiet night then this is not the place for you as the hostel is situated above a noisy bar.
