Liked: This hostel was an experience on it's own! The staff was really friendly, everyone was really cool, and it's just a sweet place to spend some time in Washington, I'd stretch to say that the hostel was better than the city...

Liked: location, free internet, bed linen colors :), sitting facilities for many people, games, kitchen, garden, balconies with couches, house, near metro, nice area with cafes and so on

Liked: Hilltop Hostel was clean, cozy, safe, and home-y. Good, safe neighborhood, great organic supermarket a few blocks down. Takoma Metro was just down the street. The people there were really nice. I made some new friends and had a great time. If you are ever in the DC area, you should definitely stay here. Don't waste your money on expensive hotels!
