Thank you for choosing Second Home Hostels. We look forward to meeting you. Per Our policy, we will charge a one night deposit per bed booked to the credit card on file with Hostelbookers. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason just let us know within 48 hours of your reservation and we will refund the entire amount. If you do not cancel within that time but are still unable to make it we will not be able to refund this deposit. Otherwise, when you arrive we will charge any remaining balance owed that we not covered by the deposit. PLEASE NOTE: We do allow 24 hour check in WITH ADVANCE NOTICE!. If you will be arriving to the hostel after eleven pm (11:00 pm) you must reply to this email at let us know when to expect you. Otherwise the door is open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.

Customers can cancel their reservation free of charge up to 2 days before arrival (local time). Payments made to HostelBookers are non-refundable.

About Second Home Hostels, LLC

Second Home Hostels is located in a family home dwelling, providing a warm, friendly and safe atmosphere for your stay. We welcome travelers from all over the world and provide everything you need to make your experience comfortable and memorable.

We provide you with a large gathering room with comfy seating, plenty of light, and a flat screen TV with cable TV. There is plenty of electricity and comfortable table spaces are provided for spending time on your laptop. Wi-Fi access is available throughout the house and also on the large outdoor deck, free of charge.

We have a great open-concept communal kitchen where you can put together a quick snack, or prepare a gourmet meal. You may even want to bring your fresh-caught fish from our lake (located a block from the hostel) and fry it up. If you don't feel like cooking, there are 24-hour bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hostel, including an active and exciting casino.

You can experience all Seattle has to offer with a short train ride into the city. Trains operate every few minutes from early morning and well into the night. We also regularly schedule trips to Western Washington's exciting tourist spots such as Mt. Rainier where you can ski, have a meal at 6,000 feet, hike and climb, or just chill out in the beauty of the scenery; the San Juan islands in Puget Sound off of Seattle, where you will be able to swim, kayak, take ferry rides, and view Orca whales and colonies of Sea Lions; and Pacific Ocean beaches where you can chill in the sun, ride horses on the beach, or sit around a cozy beach fire telling stories from home.

Accommodation Information

Second Home Hostels has 2 dorm style rooms, each with 3 bunk beds, for a total of 12 beds. Each bed includes complimentary sheets, linens, and a towel.Electricity outlets are available for your phone and laptop, and private, lockable storage spaces large enough for your suitcase and other valuables are also available.

Hot showers are available 24 hours a day!

Our single dwelling residence is located in the eclectic community of Angle Lake. The home is located on the corner of 33rd Avenue South and 192nd Street, just two blocks from International Boulevard with its restaurants, bars, casino and the Seattle-Tacoma (SeaTac) International Airport. Bus stops are conveniently located all along International Boulevard, with the nearest stops just minutes from the house. The airport also houses the terminal for the Seattle Light Rail and the King County Metro Bus hub, along with access to Amtrak.

Our centralized location offers you quick, easy, and affordable connections to all of Western Washington and beyond. A southbound Amtrak ride will take you down through Oregon and on to San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, California. North of us, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada is a couple of hours away. Western Washington is also home to two mountain ranges, a temperate rain forest and two volcanoes, providing unforgettable backpacking, hiking, camping, and climbing opportunities.

One of the largest covered shopping malls in the country is a ten minute bus ride from the hostel. The food court and surrounding restaurants offer cuisine from all over the world. Enjoy northwest fresh salmon and dungeness crab, or Indian Curry, Chinese fare, great Italian dinners or French bistro style cooking.

Seattle is home to dazzling nightlife with a whole host of clubs and late night bars where you can party and enjoy the scene. There is also a flourishing wine culture surrounding Seattle.

For those of you interested in the Art Scene, Seattle and Tacoma both offer amazing museums and galleries, amazing architecture, theater performances, concerts, opera, ballet, and symphonies.

On the sports front, Seattle is home to an American football team, a soccer team, and a baseball team, each with full game schedules and their own arenas.
