Liked: The best HI hostel in North America! I have traveled West to East coast USA and then the same across Canada, returning to the West coast; this hostel exceeded my expectations! The moment you walk through the door the staff greet you with a friendly smile and will store you luggage if you're early; kind, courteous and extremely helpful. The hostel is easily reachable on foot from greyhound or via the free public bus within the free zones. The room is spacious and to a superior standard of cleanliness; there are individual reading lights and power sockets next to each bed, so you don't disturb your room buddies and lockers to keep your valuables safe (bring your own lock). The shared shower and toilet facilities are ultra modern über clean that you could most probably eat your food off the floor! There is super fast and free WiFi and four free computer terminals with free printing facilities. Excellent and modern cooking facilities in the ultra spacious kitchen; free coffee and tea available throughout the day. There is a lounge room and TV room also. I would most definitely stay here again; if only all HI hostels were like HI-Seattle.

Liked: Staff was friendly.. breakfast included fruits which is a plus. Really new so everything looks great. Washrooms were clean and decent. Free internet is awesome.

Liked: Great location. Close to trains, buses, and sports stadiums. Staff was friendly. Common kitchen area is great. Free breakfast is a nice addition. Computers and printer available is a great thing to have. Doors use card keys, so you don't even have to leave the key at the desk when you leave. Overall, a great, clean place close to many things.
