Hostelling International USA is pleased to announce the opening of a new Hi-Seattle Hostel. Offering superb facilities, modern design and comfortable rooms, the hostel is a great place to stay for travellers of all types.

We offer a great value-oriented stay and a convenient location in the International District of downtown Seattle, just one block east of Union Station - the transit hub for Seattle. Our recently renovated facility includes a kitchen, lounge, dining room, laundry/game room, TV room, computer room, and library.

Accommodation Information

We have 89 recently renovated rooms with one to six beds per room. Most rooms have four beds per room. Both residential and commercial bathrooms are in the hall, we do have a couple of en suites available. In the common area on the mezzanine, we have a self-serve kitchen, TV room, library, laundry & storage room, computers, and free Wi-Fi throughout the building. There is a great relaxing guest lounge on the second floor with comfortable couches and chairs to relax, hang out and meet other guests.

Location Information

We are located in the International District of downtown Seattle, which puts us in easy walking distance of Pike Place Market, the waterfront, aquarium, Seattle Art Museum, the Monorail (which goes to Seattle Center and the Space Needle), shopping, restaurants, bars, and more! We are also in the free bus zone so riding around town is free until 7pm each night.
