Liked: Very clean bathrooms and good spacing with kitchens on each floor.

Disliked: Mattresses were not that good, I had to change bedding assignment.

Liked: Extremely clean, very secure, friendly staff, excellent location... this place was incredible!

Disliked: The window into the room could have used a bug screen but it wasn't a big deal.

Liked: Very interesting building and rooms. I'm not huge into art, but I did enjoy the uniqueness created by the artwork.

Disliked: 1 shower and 2 bathrooms for an entire floor of people. The building is loud when people get up and start moving about in the morning. When I first checked in, it seemed like there were close to 10 people working and cleaning up the place, which was a great sign, but they seemed to be acting like guests every other time I saw them, especially making the breakfast seem loud and crowded.

Liked: Good location as it is very easy to walk anywhere and great bars and restaurants everywhere u look, very clean, rooms are very interesting but have a good vibe to then, good facilities. Manager Leigh is awesome!!!

Disliked: although there were a few people staying I found it very hard to meet people!

Liked: Our room had graffiti on the door ample space incomparison to the other private roooms we have stayed at in north America. There were tonnes of plug ons for all our electronics. The best part was all the beautiful art in the hallways and the personalized spray painted hotdogs on the wall.

Disliked: The price. It was almost 40 US per person, a bit cheaper and it would have been perfect.

Liked: The art in all the rooms is amazing, and it's really nice having a kitchen on each floor because it feels more like a flat share than a big youth hostel

Disliked: Could use bigger lockers in the rooms, but it really wasn't a big deal

Liked: It's a perfect place to meet new friends!!!! The location is perfect, right near to downtown and Seattle centre. The free breakfast is excellence and really out of expectation!!!

Liked: responsive staff - very mindful of hostellers needs. not too far from most of the popular attractions (especially pike place market / Seattle Center). lockers with digital locks!! Made my last night/day in Seattle an unforgettable time. (Maybe City Hostel can open a branch in SanFrancisco.)

Disliked: The metal bunkbeds, they made noise if you moved around - bad for light sleepers. No common LCD screen for watching regular TV. For those that don't really plan their visits or have an open day/night, might be good to have a common bulletin board with activity listings/recommendations.

Liked: In my 20 months of traveling over Europe and Northern America, this hostel was by far was the best! The staff are so friendly and helpful with any questions you have. The place was so clean!! I was traveling alone so security is important, i felt safe and my things were safe also. The location is fantastic with a sweet pub (Buckleys) right next door. Next time I come to Seattle i'll be staying here and telling all my friends to do so too!

Disliked: Only bad thing i can say is that you can kinda feel the springs in the mattresses. I've slept on worse. Maybe the hostel can supply an extra blanket to put underneath the sheet to make it more comfortable. That would be cheaper than buying a while bunch of new mattresses (room 218)

Liked: Good location & facilities.

Disliked: The lockers in the room did not lock properly & were not big enough. The breakfast was a bit limited & basic considering the comparitively high price of the room.

Liked: Awesome hostel. Dorms with only 4 beds, beautifully and artisically decorated, with lockers and sink. The dinner offered was tasy, more than enough food and very reasonably priced ($6) -- and many thanks to the chef for making me a yummy veggie version without hesitation! Friendly and helpful staff. Computers for guest use.

Disliked: Just a suggestion: Could you please set up the breakfast earlier? Right now it starts at 0800. I often leave hostels early in the morning to catch a flight/train or go to whatever event i'm there for, and 8 a.m. is usually too late for that. I would like to have the breakfast, but only if it were available by 0700 or earlier.

Liked: Awesome concept with each room painted by a local artist. Owners were super friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of things to do when Seattle is too wet to bare eg 21 seat cinema, ping pong, library etc

Disliked: No where to hang towel or put bathrom things in ensuite. Room got quite hot and couldnt adjuct temperature on heater. Could feel the springs through the mattress and the pillow was pretty shyt.

Liked: The hostel is BEAUTIFUL, it doesn't look like a hostel from outside. The $6 dinner is amazing, the chef used to be an executive chef in restraurant and his soup and dessert was delicious! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The restrooms are clean. There's a kitchen on every floor, so we can cook or boil water whenever we want. The hostel uses key cards so it's SUPER safe! The neighbourhood is safe and it's close enough to different tourist spots and transportation. Last but not least, the wifi is VERY fast, I can even watch stream videos =D

Disliked: A bit far from greyhound or amtrack, it's tiring to walk especially with backpacks and bags. The neighbourhood is a bit noisy on Friday night. The hot water in the shower is not hot enough. There're not enough plugs in the dorm room for charging.

Liked: Good facilities, very clean. The staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful. They don't mind looking up which bus you need to take to get somewhere, and most of them know already. Great dinner for only $6 some days, with dessert. Awesome movie theatre. Just overall great atmosphere, they make you feel very welcome. Though that varied with the different staff.

Disliked: While there was a lot of security and that is very good, it was kind of scary having cameras absolutely everywhere, especially when the area is already quite safe. It's a little hard to find something to do in the area at night if you're under 21.

Liked: I travel a lot and I can say this is one of the best hotel I remember (value for money). Not if you move for a job and need a rest, but for all other purposes, it's just perfect!
