08 November 2009	Kelly Burns The hostel is down a dead end ally which isn't as bad as it sounds but when you arrive at night and your blurry eyed from lack of sleep because of a long flight the dark ally coupled with all the people standing right out side the main door smoking is a little intimidating. Plenty of clean toilets and shower, at first there doesn't seem to be enough but i didn't have to wait once. Staff are really friendly and helpfull. The breakfast is good, all you can eat bagles, toast with jam, nutella. Free Wifi came in handy but as with most hostels i stayed in on this trip everyone is a lot more anti social now becasue they sit around on their laptops rather than mingling. Best place to meet people was breakfast and in your room where the wifi couldn't reaach. Room had a funny smell. Doors dont block out any noise so you can hear people standing in the hallway talking, which they did all though the night. You can hear all the noise from out side too even with the windows closed. I think if i went back to san fran i would stay somewhere else.	62%

02 October 2009	Margaret McDougald Lovely lounge to relax in and meet people. Fantastic home cooked meal available every evening for $5 - a real bonus. Good plentiful breakfast - with "oatmeal" - a kind of super porridge with apple and dried fruit and cinnamon and pumpkin seeds! Internet free and freely available. Laundry and plenty of hot water. Thick comfortable mattresses in dorms. Really nice atmosphere. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. Warmly recommended.	97%

27 August 2009	Andre Carneiro The bathrooms and common areas are very clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a sink in the room. The lobby and kitchen are great to hang out and are open 24h. There's free breakfast and a great $5 dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's centrally located, true, but the neighborhood (tenderloin) is quite sketchy: a lot crackheads and homeless people around. Doesn't feel particularly dangerous but walking around at night is not pleasant.	95%
