Liked: This place is really really nice. Good Wifi, great breakfast, with bagels, english muffins, raisin and apple oatmeal, and fruit salad. good value dinners. we stayed over christmas, and there was such a great atmosphere, the food was amazing, with endless turkey! met some really great people and ended up playing catchphrase with the staff, slightly drunk on christmas day til 2 in the morning. Best showers ever. free luggage storage, and good value washing machines and dryers. checking in at 2 am was no problem. staff willing to go that extra mile.

Disliked: The fact San Francisco is on hills. Don't wear heels.

Liked: Was here by my self and this was a really good place to meet other travelers.. I had a really good time and there are close to like everything..

Disliked: The beds were loud when you moved in them... Which didn't bother me but something to concider..

Liked: This hostel is in a great location, close to the main places to see in SF. The atmosphere is very inviting. Its a great place to meet people from all over the world. I wish I could have stayed longer to par take in all the events offered! The staff was also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hostel!

Disliked: The rooms were slightly crowded and messy. (but that was mostly the other guest's fault.) The streets were really noisy, especailly early in the morning. The showers weren't great, but plenty of hot water.

Liked: It was nice for our stay in San Francisco, near Union Square. It felt kind of old fashionned but nice.

Liked: It had a great location and the room was a good size.

Disliked: The bathroom could do with a bit of updating and the underneath of the bath leaked.

Liked: it's near union square and if u walk up maison street and turn on post. It's a quiet and safe walk back. I stayed in a single ensuite so everything was good, turns out it's the fitzgerald, not the adelaide. The adelaide hostel is a bit dirty and the entranceis in a back alley which was a bit hard to find.

Disliked: Lots of mosquitos so you can't really open up the windows reason is windows again is not facing a street, if you are getting the double ensuite then i think you will have no problem with that. no AC which is a bit stuffy i belive especially in the summer.

Liked: Great facilities provided- fast speed wifi and a great lounge to know new friends. Computers are provided as well. Laundry services are available so it was very convenient for me as I was travelling for long and needed to clean my clothes. Quite a number of shower rooms and restrooms are provided so there wasn't really problem of having to wait long to use one.Staff were friendly and helpful. It's definetely a nice place to stay at.

Liked: The staff (especially Justin) was really friendly and helpful, the activities and community events/meals offered were impressive. There was also an abundance of bathrooms and showers, unlike what we expected for our first-time hostel experience.

Disliked: The pillows were all really flat, more like seat cushions that pillows.

Liked: Great place to stay, free breakfast and $5 dinners, can't go wrong. Private rooms are nice and sunny - much better than a lot of hotels I've stayed in San Fran.

Liked: really great location and super good facilities. The hostel itself is really good.

Disliked: The atmosphere in Adelaide is pretty appauling. No one talks, and seems that everyone in the hostel is only interested in talking to their friends on computers. If anyone speaks they are confronted with dirty looks and asked to go outside. Also you arent allowed to drink outside the hostel in the alley, and are asked to go a block or 2 away if you want to socialise. If you create a quiet vibe, people will stick to it, well the vibe at Adelaide is fine for people who want to sit on laptops, just does not welcome people who want to socialise!
