Isadora Duncan is a small street located between Geary street and Post street and just off Taylor Street in the Union Square area of downtown San Francisco, on some maps our street is called Adelaide Place, full directions are on our website or contact Gerard at the Adelaide for detailed directions including our airport shuttle pickup.

From the Airport the easiest way is by airport shuttle contact Gerard at the Adelaide for instructions.

From the Airport you can also take the subway (B.A.R.T) to Powell street station, walk three north on Powell street to Geary street, turn left on Geary street and walk west two blocks to Taylor street cross to the west side and walk a 1//2 a block north on Taylor we are on the left hand side of Taylor street on Isadora Duncan lane , look for the big Adelaide Hostel Sign at the end of the of Isadora Duncan Lane.

Driving Directions
From the East - Oakland Bay Bridge (Highway 80 Westbound)
While on the upper deck of the Bay Bridge, take the first off-ramp in San Francisco from the right lane, Fremont Street. Turn left on Fremont and proceed 2 blocks to Howard Street. Turn left and go 6 blocks on Howard Street to 6th Street, turn right onto 6th street. Proceed on 6th Street across Market Street where it will turn into Taylor Street. Proceed on Taylor Street 5 1/2 blocks to Isadora Duncan Lane; take a left hand turn into Isadora Duncan Lane just after you pass Geary Street. The Adelaide Hostel is located in Isadora Duncan Lane.

From the North - Golden Gate Bridge
(Highway 101 Southbound)
Proceed across the Golden Gate Bridge (Highway 101 southbound) into San Francisco. Take the Lombard Street exit and proceed on Lombard until Van Ness. Turn right onto Van Ness Avenue. Take Van Ness to O'Farrell Street. Turn left onto O'Farrell street, drive six blocks to Taylor street take a left hand turn onto Taylor street drive north 1 1/2 blocks to Isadora Duncan lane take a left hand turn into Isadora Duncan Lane just after you pass Geary street. The Adelaide Hostel is located in Isadora Duncan Lane.

From the South Bay - San Francisco Airport
(Highway 101 Northbound, Highway 280 Northbound)
From Highway 101: take the Seventh Street turnoff onto Bryant Street and proceed 1 block to 6th Street. Turn left on 6th Street and go 5 blocks. Continue across Market Street onto Taylor Street. Proceed on Taylor Street 5 1/2 blocks to Isadora Duncan Lane. Drive north 1 1/2 block to Isadora Duncan lane take a left hand turn into Isadora Duncan Lane just after you pass Geary Street. The Adelaide Hostel is located in Isadora Duncan Lane.

Parking information; there is some free street parking available on public streets near the Adelaide Hostel.
But this is downtown San Francisco and parking in general is difficult.
There is a car park behind the hostel which we do not own but they give 24 hour parking to our guests for a reduced rate of $16 which is discounted from the regular $28.We will give you directions when you arrive.
