Liked: Everything! The location, overlooking the ocean and the City of San Francisco is amazing. Parking is free. Hostel is tucked in the park, which gives you a mixture of the urban & suburban at the same time. Waking up to the free breakfast, and overlooking the Golden Gate bridge, and the ocean on the left is amazing. The linens are the cleanest of any hostel that I've ever visited. This hostel is highly organized, in the lounge, kitchen, movie theater section, rooms, bathroom, parking, laundry, etc. Their bathroom even have a soap & shampoo dispenser for those of us who didn't bring one. The towels are the cleanest and freshest. They are really worth the $29.99 price. I was very glad to stay in this hostel. This hostel also represent hostelbookers VERY VERY WELL.

Disliked: One shower at the ladies shower room. While there are three toilets, there was only on shower which makes the queue in the morning for ladies to shower quickly if there's need to leave urgently.

Liked: It is okay value for money, but it can be worthy of paying a bit more and getting more as well. Location is nice for walking and cycling.

Disliked: If you are not occupying the whole dorm with your friends - i would not recommend this place (to packed).

Liked: The great view is just outside the hostel

Disliked: The breakfast is little. Only 1 bagel "or" 2 waffle. The restroom has strange smell. And water of shower is not hot enough.

Liked: it's clean, safe and quiet. and i like the location somewhat close to the golden gate bridge.

Liked: Great views of the Golden Gate Bridge from the back of the hostel, and an easy bike there too. Safe area (short walk to the touristy Fisherman's Wharf area, but about 15-20 mins bus ride to downtown areas), staff were helpful, keycard security to dorms. Big kitchen area, though I didn't actually use the facilities so cannot comment on how well stocked it is for utensils, appliances, etc. Free breakfast was good - assorted bagels, waffles, juice, coffee, tea. Wide age range of guests - families, travellers young and old, definitely not a party hostel but that suited me just fine. Public transport is a few minutes walk away, as the hostel is located at the far end away from Fort Mason's main entrance.

Liked: Good location, free breakky is good. we stayed in a12 bed dorm which was a bad move - it was oo cramped. facilities are good though

Liked: the staff were sensational, the position on Fort Mason was outstanding. the place was very relaxed and felt nice to come back to at the end of a long day in this beautiful part of California

Liked: Great location just off the beautiful bay and generally a nice quiet place with a good mixed-age crowd. I can't really talk much about the social aspects because I only stayed there one night but I saw some movies and pub crawls so I'm sure they'd be good.

Liked: The location was the best, pretty safe and close to most of the sights. Besides I enjoyed the tours which where offered by the Hostel- great to meet new people. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would definitly come back!!
