Great location in between Alcatraz & Golden Gate Bridge. Not a party hostel though, wide age group stay here.

Free breakfast was great. Location is brilliant.
Most of the staff helpful and friendly but could smile a bit more!!
Overall pretty good, would recommend.
Good place to meet other travellers.

The location of this hostel was absolutely incredible. Easy access to public transit and lcoal attractions such as the Golden Bridge, Alcatraz and Fisherman's wharf. The rooms and common areas were clean (that was the most important for me). The staff was extremely helpful. If we could've, we would have stayed longer but they were booked! Let's just say that this was our first experience in a hostel and... not the last!

The hostel was situated close to public transport, and meals were cheap and accessible from the hostel, so you didnt have to find somewhere out after a long day sight-seeing and climbing the many hills of san fran...a blend of ages at this hostel, some young and some older, rooms were cleaned daily and found most of the people i shared with to be very friendly!

Excellent location with views of Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, far enough from city centre for peace and quiet but easy walking distance from Fishermans Wharf and the pier.

amazing location! Bring your laptop 4 free internet, and see alcatraz and the golden gate bridge from the grounds. Overall amazing! A hostel that is more like a hotel! I RECOMEND!!!

A nice friendly atmosphere in an awesome location for a decent price. The only minus is that bigger dorm rooms smell of sweat, although it can be corrected by opening the windows every morning. Had a blast there this New Year's.

Bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. Felt very safe. Cafe and kitchen facilities were excellent. Great location. Internet available.
