Liked: the private rooms were nice and for the amount of people staying here it is not that noisy, good to meet a variety of travellers

Liked: It was a real hostel!! Good to meet people! The free dinner was awesome!! Never had such a big dinner as here!! I hope hostel Green Tortoise will stay like this, because its excelent!! Good location, everything!!

Liked: The hostel had free breakfast (veg only) and dinner three days a week. It seemed every night there was an activity or event organized by the staff from art, to $1 drink nights, to bike tours around the city. I had a blast. Definitely a great experience. All the people I met with friendly and fun to hang out with. I am just disappointed that the green tortoise isn't a chain through out the world. I'd stay in it everytime.

Liked: Everything! I have been in many hostels,and this was one of the best ever. Go there mondays,wensdays and friday and you have free dinner. The staff is cool,the rooms are nice,and they clean them every day...Internet for free 24 hours...breakfast (a good one) for free...

Liked: In the short time I have stayed here, I have met far more different people than in the other hostels I have stayed so far.It is kept clean all of the time and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Liked: It had a generous vibe. just great in general. fun and laid back. fun ballroom. cool homey bathroom, like at a cottage. overall original.

Liked: free good breakfast(bagels, fruit!), sometimes also free dinner, big ballroom where you can meet other people. a shirt which was not locked under the bunkbeds got stolen from my friend. Besides that we had an awesome time and lots of fun!
