Liked: The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Brendan was solid with his food recommendations. Hostel is clean and the rooms are great. Within a few blocks of anything you need. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in San Francisco. I would recommend the ensuite rooms - so handy having a bathroom in your room!

Liked: A very nice hostel with a great atmosphere and great staff - very central near Union Square. The private room with ensuite is like a small hotel room, very clean, with tv and free wifi! The pancakes in the kitchen are great, too!I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting SF!

Liked: It was all very good. The only thing that disappointed me was the service charge of 4 Dollars (!!) for credit card payments! This is very unusual for any hostel/hotel I have every been to and it cannot be justified!

Liked: free pancakes everyday, free tea n coffee all day n night. really helpful staff. there are a maz of 4 to any room which can be a nice change.

Liked: They try to make the place as convenient as possible for backpackers. With a great eye for detail: small notes w/ directions to popular sightseeing spots, electricity in the lockers, shuttle services, nearly professional kitchen and so on, and so on. The place makes you feel like home instantly.

Liked: Great place to meet people and a fun hostel. They have good list of activities on the go each day. Only problem is the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.
