Liked: Everything! Such a nice vibe going on here. comfortbale beds. lots of activities ran by the hostel. A perfect location for travellers and young holiday makers.

Disliked: The fact i had to leave.

Liked: Friendly staff. After one night sleeping in a room next to the noisy elevator, i asked for another room that was not near the elevator and they helped me directly, so i got an even bigger and better room.

Disliked: Breakfest could get an upgrade.

Liked: Good all round - friendly atmosphere when I was there.

Disliked: Check out time of 10am - sooo uncivilised.

Liked: First time staying in a hostel, but USAHostels is excellent. A really good balance of a relaxed, fun and sociable atmosphere with safety, rules and order. Location is good, 5 minutes from union square, though it is close to tenderloin. Staff are excellent all round. Toilets etc all immaculately clean whenever I used them, met lots of people at the parties thrown by the hostel and there are no end of activities and tours on offer. You really get your money's worth here.

Disliked: A little near tenderloin, perhaps a tv area would be cool? It might be nice of they sold food at canteen or something, but tbh its not necessary with a big kitchen and lots of restaurants.

Liked: Very clean and relatively big rooms for a hostel, excellent location, within walking distance to everything in San Francisco. Plugs in the lockers and next to beds are very useful.

Disliked: Quite expensive for a hostel, but probably worth the bit extra as so much nicer and more comfortable than other options, and much much cheaper than hotels in San Francisco

Liked: Really friendly and helpful staff, rooms were clean and quiet.

Disliked: There were not enough facilities for all the people in the hostel. The kitchen was large and ok, however not that tidy as expected.

Liked: Everyone is super friendly, it's well run and well organised. Really close to Union square. I'm so impressed i'm staying at their hostel in LA!

Liked: It is clean and safe! There is big kitchen, big common room, computers, laundry, pool, parties, interesting people, kind and helpfull staff, located 5 minutes walk from Union square, 10 minutes walk from piers...

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: the location was good; close to union square, the shops and a lot of transport options. each bed and locker had its own power sockets which was good...you could charge things safely and in your own time

Disliked: nothing really, it was fine to stay in

Liked: Good service, staff was always helpful and friendly and location was close to almost everything I wanted to reach.

Disliked: Some guests didn´t care about nignt silence, but that´s a common problem in many hostels.

Liked: Really amazing place to meet people, if you are look because some times the groups are allready closed.

Disliked: A kind of farway from the piers and the bridge and everything. But if you like walk and meet the amazing San Francisco this is a good place.

Liked: The staff are fabulous. No matter what your question, they answer with a smile and relevant info. Cheap place to do laundry, too- always a plus as a backpacker.

Disliked: mixed dorms are small and poky.
