 its the perfect hostel in the perfect place. the best ellection you can do if you come to san diego. you can smell the pacific ocean from your bed. and the street where is the hostel is very nice, and people are crazy!

the people r very nice that stay there. but the rooms r small and dirty. the location is not very good . the bus is coming only once an hour to go downtown. the hostel is very near the ocean, so if u plan to make only a " beachvacation" it is nice. but i don't recommend to go san diego for young people. i went after san diego 2 days to la...that's much nicer there.

Pretty good value. I had a free shuttle from the airport and pancakes for breakfast the next morning. Not sure that they made any money off of me....

the free champers on easter sunday, the cheap but very decent mountain bikes that got us from ocean beach to mission bay, via pacific beach.

I liked a lot that everybody was so nice.. I was at this Hostel with a friend we didn't know what to do in the night, but that wasn't a problem anyway because we got invited to hang out with the people in the hostel right away. You just feel so welcome.. everybody is nice and it is a lot of fun in this Hostel.. The guys are so nice and if you have any question they try to help.

- The staff is great - very friendly & helpful.
- Although there were no muffins/bagels provided as stated the free daily breakfast and Tue/Fri barbecue is great for the price.

Its all right if you want to go surfing, but don't expect to much from the Hostel itself. I had to sleep like right under the fan (maybe 40cm between my face and the fan)
