Liked: Almost everything, it has a very nice atmosphere, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything u need to cook, big common room and nice and comfortable beds, very clean, they make a nice dinner 3 times a week for free, the breakfast is great and the manager is very nice!!

Disliked: The staff: there must be around 15 guys and girls working for the hostel, they look a nice group of friends but they don't do nothing to envolve you to party with them, In the beginning i thought it was me but than other 2 guests told me they had the same feelings, they should be more friendly with customers

Liked: Very nice HOSTEL ! Good staff, safe, very clean and so organize.. I'm truly recommend... one of the best hostel that I' ve been stay...

Liked: Everything, really... the style, the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff... it's a great hostel!

Liked: Nice Decorations, Free wifi and breaky. Close to the Gaslamp area and a trolley station nearby.

Disliked: No work (screw driver...) in the building at 11pm.

Liked: The place where they stey is awesome.

Disliked: Only two showers per floor is madness. In a full place it would never work, and I already waited for half an hour.

Liked: clean, nice and helpful staff, one can borrow towels and leave suitcases at checkout date, 4-bed dorms are nice and not so crowded (much better than 6 or 8-bed dorms at other places) free food 3 nights a week! movie night, pub crawl ---> lots of things going on

Disliked: fat free milk for breakfast was the only option, a little bit more space to store or put things on in the rooms would have been nice

Liked: very artsy and laid back. nice staff. convenient location. if they upgraded the beds/bedding, i would stay there again, but on that point alone i would stay elsewhere. i left early rather than stay a second night.

Disliked: the bunk beds in dorm are ancient metal ones that squeeked and rocked whenever someone shifted in their bed. would not want to be in them during an earthquake. the blanket was extremely skimpy and the pillow was flat and lumpy. i am not sure but it seems that the heat was turned extremely low at night. woke up several times quite cold. the free meals were nothing to brag about. all hi sugar junk cereals. if you were starving and broke, dinner was edible, but otherwise you could do better with fast food. common rooms were...common.

Liked: 90% of staff were amazing. The other 10% were still good though! Love fact that they organise different social events each night (often budget, socialable and fun). Nice free breakfast and a great kitchen to use (clean, big, etc.). GREAT HOSTEL OVERAL

Disliked: ermm nothing much...maybe harder matresses in the dorm room and fix the blinds? Also, careful walking from Greyhound to Hostel, it gets a bit sketchy east of 6th street if you walk down from Broadway...But totally safe and great west of hostel.

Liked: Good location and freebies however not the best place for backpackers. I got the impression that most of the people here either worked here or were people using the hostel as a half way house.

Liked: Very nice place conveniently located in the gas lamp district, although street parking for vehicle was a little bit of a hassle. Staff could be more attentive and have a little less attitude. But overall, it was a nice hostel, I would stay again.

Liked: Overalls great hostel but the staff seem to use the common room as a staff room, and other guests seemed reluctant to socialise there. Clean, bright roomss, good activities, amazing location.

Liked: If you stay longer than 6nights uyou get one night for free. But therfore you have to book direktly on the Lucky D's Hostel Webpage. It is the best hostel where I have ever been to...

Liked: Great kitchen and common area for meeting people or just chillin. Staff cool. All you can eat waffles for brekkie. Only problem was that the club downstaires was kinda noisy so maybe don't hope on sleeping too great. Good party hostel tho so who needs sleep.
