Liked: I like the staff most of all! There were very friendlyy and tried their best to answer my questions. Especially the kitchen was great. You can cook everything and every time what you want and the pancakes in the Morning are delicious

Disliked: there was nothing!

Liked: location was great, right in the centre by all of the bars and restaurants. Bathrooms and rooms were clean. Everything in the room seemed pretty new. Would deff recommend to other travellers.

Disliked: Breakfast is only pancakes and kitchen could do with a clean. Rather noisey if sleeping street side, but that's what you compromise for a great location!

Liked: My partner and I stayed in a Private room (without ensuite) it was roomy and clean. The common areas are nice too and plenty of information on offer. Great location, right in the downtown/gaslamp area and close to public transport. Kitchen is amazing, it pretty much a professional kitchen so a good way to save money and eat well.

Disliked: The matress wasn't the best foam and covered in a plastic cover that made the sheets slip off.

Liked: The location is perfect for going to USS Midway Museum, Balboa Park and Coronado. It is almost adjacent to the heart of the Downtown.

Liked: Kinda neat building, right down town.

Disliked: Dorm rooms were a bit big, but you get what you pay for.

Liked: very nice place. the free pancakes are delicious. i would definitely come back and stay longer :)

Liked: The TempurPedic mattress was glorious. The room (I had a single room with ensuite bathroom) was fine -- about half the cost for a hotel room in the area.

Disliked: The bathroom was dark, and a little dingy - peeling linoleum, a strange black patch in the tub, and a little hole in the ceiling over the toilet. I tried to take quick showers because it wasn't too nice in there.

Liked: Location is great!! by gaslamp, few blocks from the trolley.

Disliked: Facilities look old and not well taken care of.

Liked: Very clean, awesome pancake breakfast! Helpful, friendly staff, good location.

Disliked: The street outside was very noisy and it was really hot with the window shut, plus the bed was pretty uncomfortable so sleeping wasn't great.

Disliked: the worst thing it was the smell in my bedroom same as "sleeping in an ashtray" horrible!!! I couldn't even breath

Liked: Location is great for young travellers - in the heart of downtown/Gaslamp quarter, lots of nightlife, restaurants, and shopping close by. Very close to San Diego airport (~$13 by taxi). Because of its location, it is quite noisy at night, due to the music being played at the various pubs and clubs nearby. I didn't find this to be a problem, but light sleepers will need earplugs (you can get them for free at reception). Keycard security to dorms, lots of couches and lounge areas, free pancakes are great, lots of power outlets in dining area. Plenty of fridge space, kitchen is well-equipped. Lockers in room, though it was a tight fit even for my relatively small backpack.

Liked: I loved the free pancake breakfast. There are plenty of programs offered by the property. examlpe: what to see, where to eatIt was clean.I loved the colour of the rooms.

Liked: Great downtown location. Room was clean and good comfortable bed.

Disliked: Really noisy - it was a complete racket on Sat night, up till 3am and the staff didn't do anything.
