Disliked: Don't be fooled by the five-star like appearance of this hotel. 4 people dorm room is extremely small and barely accommodate people. The hostel should reconsider this. The building is very large and empty. Very weird experience

Liked: Professional staff, a nice clean, private room to stay in with shared bathrooms.

Disliked: I was concerned there might be a line for showers in the shared bathrooms (12 bathrooms for a floor with ~50 rooms) but I didn't actually have a problem with lines.

Liked: Close to all attractions, kitchen on site, security on site and patrolled at night. Very close to greyhound. fridge in room, t.v. in room and ceiling fan

Liked: Location. It is easy to get to both the airport and public transit - trolleys and trains. Was clean.

Disliked: big and impersonal. not easy to connect with other travellers. Rooms were extremely small.

Disliked: There was no social area for everyone to collectively hang around and get to know each other

Disliked: no good place to meet other people. no hostel, more a hotel with some dorm rooms on top, staff was not able to give recommendations for san diego, just said look for the commercial flyer rack in the hotel... sad info!

Liked: Prime location, good deal

Disliked: A lot of crazy older adults make residence here, it isn't a good place to meet youths. Kitchen facilities are very limited in terms of pots and pans (non existent).

Disliked: Toilets plugged very easily and no one cleaned them up very fast - most were plugged for my entire stay

Liked: Nice place to stay. Not like a typical hostel so if you're looking to meet people don't stay there. Great YMCA gym right next door which you can use for $5 a day or $15 for the week. Nice, small, clean rooms. Very close to airport and train station which is great.

Liked: close to public transportation.

Disliked: even though the staff keeps the hostel clean the people who stay here are not quite as clean, and they seem to live here rather than staying a few days plus some of them are eccentric (to use a nice definition). beside the stove/oven and microwave the kitchen has 4 knives and one frying pan so unless you travel with pots and cutlery you can't really cook. if you need to use the computer in the hall of the hostel chances are you'll spend money for nothing as it is very slow and closes down the page you've been trying to patiently work on for ages...

Liked: very good location for travellers... near to the santa fe depot and to the greyhound station

Disliked: the rooms were pretty small and hey didn`t offer breakfast therefore it`s quite expensive.
