Liked: Very friendly personalised service from the moment you step through the door. Decor has a very homely feel and neighbourhood feels safe. Good advice from staff. Good value for money.

Liked: I reserved a private room (in the B&B next to the hostel). It is a beautiful old mansion. I had my bicycle with me and found that commuting downtown to riverwalk was quick and safe. I would stay here again. There are bike rentals downtown on the corner of main and pecan. Bicycles are the best way to get around. The other thing that added charm to my stay was the playing of Revele each morning on the Fort Sam Houston PA system.
