Liked: While its a bit out of the way, the Chamounix hostel is one of the nicest and most interesting hostels i've stayed in. The staff, well the one guy who was there when I stayed was extremely nice, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hostel as a place to stop in Philie

Liked: Loved the atmosphere and the setting in an old house. Staff were seriously friendly and had a great time there, was supposed to stay 1 night and ended up staying 3 days

Liked: I liked its location........ amidst so much greenery in a beutiful corner of the fairmount park.........the place is very peaceful and offers a nice break from the heat and dust of daily city life...........and the dorm is quite cheap......the only problem was the that place was closed to guests from 11am to 4.30 pm ....if one can cook one's own food, well then its a fine place to spend a couple of days on vacation
