Liked: good hostel, i suggested everyone to stay here, because you can enjoy inteserting life in poor districts while arriving to the hostel

Liked: it was in a very nice area a bit out of town so it was very relaxed. people that ran the hostel were nice and it had a good kitchen and good tv room for a nice in.

Liked: Very nice staff, and location is beautiful in the park, really relaxing, 15 min walk to bus and then half an hour to get into the city, bus runs often enough. No bikes available, unfortunatly, but we had a good time. Be sure to bring some anti mosquito stuff if you like to sit on the porch in the evening. And off course stupid HI-policy: no alcohol allowed on premises, but hey, you get used to that.

Liked: I really liked the hostel itself, it is set in an old mansion and the atmosphere is lovely. The location is great if you've got a car but otherwise the bus ride from downtown Philadelphia is pretty lengthy and is followed by a walk of a mile or so. However the hostel will let you use their bikes for free and that was a great way to see the city. Would definitely recommend, rooms are very clean and staff are impressively helpful.

Liked: It was a beautiful building in Fairmont Park. The lock out from 11am-4:30pm is annoying. Its a 15 min walk to the bus but the price is right. $20 a night you can't beat that!!

Liked: The historical style of the mansion is very romantic and beautiful! The mansion's located lamost one hour away from downtown in the middle of forests so if you love nature you'll love the hostel!

Liked: Its a stunning old mansion with good facilities and a nice atmosphere. A perfect hostel if you want relaxing evenings and sightseeing in the day. Not so good if you want to see Phillys nigtlife as its a long way from the centre.

Liked: very nice restaureted house,situate close to Philadelfia in a forest,is just a place for relax.Has a very nice landsites,whit many common room..for reading for tv...just for you.The most important think to be on,is just the hostel is about twenty minutes far from the center of the city,and onces you are here you must leave the hostel before 11PM until 4AM.

Liked: For those with classes or meetings at UPenn the Chamounix Mansion Hostels is very "accommodating." It is just 4-1/2 miles from UPenn on city streets, and three-and-a-half of those miles provide bike lanes or wide shoulders. The site also offers a bike path along the river. The desk clerk was notably accommodating.

Liked: The Hostel has a lot of charm and character. Distance from town isn't too much of a problem, but the curfew is very annoying...as is the creaky floorboards!

Liked: the hostel is miles away from the city centre, plus it has some crazy opening hours like 8am until 11am and 4.30pm till midnight which means u cant get into the hostel during the day or into ur rooms which sucks
