Adam Teczathe place is good place to stay if you are going to be in Philadelphia for a while. Many of the people who were staying there (during the summer) had been there for more than a few weeks and even a few months. It created a nice relaxed place to stay where you could hang out and meet some nice people. The only draw back (for some) is the location in West Philly which is not within walking distance of center city (but it is walking distance to UPenn). However, the house has a great porch and there is a bus that stops right out in front of the hostel that takes you straight through to center city (max 20 min). |

Customer reviewStayed for one night, the receptionists were friendly and the people who stayed there were respectful (i.e. turned off lights, kept quiet after 11pm). The hostel is actually a huge house, with 4 floors. Location is not that great since its on the opposite side of Olde Town, with all the bars and restaurants and takes about 10 mins to get to in cab ($12). The neighborhood is nice though, quiet and peaceful. |
