Nianying LinIt felt more like a home than a temporary place to stay in; the people i met were very friendly and there was a kitchen and dining hall for us to hang out. it's situated pretty near Upenn but rather far away from downtown, but there's a bus right outside the hostel which u can take to downtown within 15 minutes (waiting time not included). it just happened that the nearest SEPTa station was under renovation so we had to take the bus all the time.very clean, repairs were done very promptly. |

Customer reviewThey should write the name of the hostel on the door, because it looks just like all the other residential houses on the street and when you ring the bell you wonder who will open the door. It is basically a regular house where each room is a dorm, most guests seem to live there for a longer period of time, it is like a shared flat really. The owner makes an effort to make it a homely place which is nice. It is very colourful, plenty of bathrooms and free wireless as well as stationary computers for those who didn't bring their own. Nice living room too. I particularly liked those fluffy blankets, which were more like a feather bed/duvet - which is really nice. |
