About Hedonisia Hawaii Eco-Hostel
It's jungle style but hardly roughing it! There is also a nature-trail you can explore that leads around to our own volcanic crater.
Please note that we also offer a very affordable Fair-Trade Volunteer Program and Social Change Research Internships for those who wish to enjoy a longer educational or working vacation in Hawaii!
From a converted school bus to a hut made mostly from guava wood we have used our imagination with recycled, renewable and reclaimed materials to create cool quirky eco-friendly lodgings that are affordable and unique!
We are located on the volcanic side of Hawaii Island in the Puna region.
We suggest that you purchase some food supplies in Hilo or Pahoa on your way to Hedonisia as we have a full kitchen and refrigerator. Be sure to pick out some new and exotic Hawaiian fruits and vegetables!
