Liked: Everything was okey.

Disliked: Only I don't like a pipe in a corner what was noise and it was hard to sleep well,,but the beds are very good.

Liked: Excellent location, great quality room, we almost had an en suite because of how the bathroom was placed. Staff were incredibly helpful

Disliked: A little expensive, but so was everywhere in manhattan over new years eve

Liked: Location was very good.

Disliked: Was not the cleanest -under the bed and cupboards messy. We also had mice visit us during the night. When reported to the staff we did not get any compensation for the fact that two mice were climbing on top of our bags. The luggage storage service has time limit which in our case was an inconvenience.

Liked: Small rooms but very comfortable beds with clean sheets and serviced everyday. Room was also very quiet at night, not a lot of noise from the street or surrounding nightclub. Shared bathroom but only with 1 other room meaning only 4 people max. will be using the bathroom and we never even bumped into the other couple. Breakfast was nice, coffee or tea and your choice of a paistry. Location is amazing for everything as NYC is a walking city. Metro stops also 2 blocks away for metro users. Staff friendly and willing to help, overall a good cheap place to stay in the thick of the city.

Disliked: Small room but that is expected for NYC and bed was a little creaky when you moved on it bit nothing a normal person can't handle.

Liked: Central Manhatten location.

Disliked: Expensive for what you got. We have previously stayed in Queens, a block from the subway that gets you into Manhattan in about 15 mins, which was about half the price for much nicer accommodation. I wouldn't stay in downtown Manhattan again. The hotel wasn't so much 'lovingly restored' as it claims on its own website, as new coat of paint slapped on.

Liked: Fantastic location and clean! For what you pay, it's wonderful.

Disliked: Save for a toilet mishap, not much. The staff is relativly on top of everything.

Liked: Very helpful staff, cozy room with all standard amenities, fridge, safe, etc. Includes a great breakfast from the bakery downstairs. Just a block or two from the Subway. And you just cant beat the price.

Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Amazing location with great access to the subway. Breakfast an added bonus and very tasty. Enjoyed our stay and time there.

Disliked: The place is just somewhere to put your head down, doesn't try to be anything else. Not the most glamourous place but perfectly satisfactory.

Liked: I liked the location and the size of the room. I felt like the recepcionist did everything she could for me, even though she didn't give the right info a couple of times.

Disliked: It wasn't clean enough for a good service. I found an used band-aid between my bed's sheets. On the other hand the breakfast was really poor, they gave me a bread with no butter, jam, or whatever, they didn't have fruit and the guy actually talked to me like I was stupid.

Liked: Great location close to Union Square. Friendly and helpfull staff. Toilet was broken when we arrived but fixed in an hour. The room was small and cosy - like we expected. Room service came by every day and provided fresh towels etc. Considering the low price we got much more than expected. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling on a budget.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike - value for money.

Liked: awesome, clean and comfortable room. we had to share the bathroom with another room, but there were no problems. We felt well and saved and the staff was also very friendly and helpful. All in all, a nice place to stay!

Disliked: Unfortunately very, very noisy!

Liked: We stayed on the fourth floor in a double and shared the bath with another double. Nice room, very good location and not too noisy. Really enjoyed my stay. Thanks.

Disliked: Small double bed and a bit noisy due to the busy street but nothing serious.

Liked: It´s located in a really lively neighbourhood. Still the life on the streets doesn´t bother the stay at hostel. Nice place to stay.

Disliked: Carpets on the floor made the place look dark and a bit dirty from inside.

Liked: staff are very friendly, the privacy was good and in a great location. yummy breakfast!

Disliked: nothing. noisy streets: you gsve us ear plugs, plugged toilet:was fixed that day.

Liked: the location! it was near the metro and shopping and the Union Square and Broadway....

Disliked: the prices shown on Hostelbookers, was not the price that we had to pay. we had to pay more due to tax and we had to pay at arrival and it was a a bit intransparent how the price came about

Liked: Lots of character and personality and super location.

Disliked: The only issue we had was that our bathroom was nearly always locked and we didn't have a key for it.

Liked: The property offered a free continental breakfast from a bakery downstairs that was very delicious. They had a secure luggage room to store our belongings before we checked in.

Disliked: The property was snug. The room was comfortable but a bit smaller than imagined.

Liked: Good place to stay, the location was great and the room was clean. Wireless worked and the room was warm. The breakfast was the typical American breakfast of a pastry and a coffee, not very healthy but convenient.
