Close to central park and has a subway station that can take you to anywhere you want to go sometimes needing to chnage trains but goes direct to times square right on the corner of the street.
Overview
A safe and friendly hostel Central Park is right on your doorstep. Other nearby Upper West Side attractions includes museums, galleries and the New York City Broadway theatres.
Welcome to the International Student Centre. A comfortable and excellently located youth hostel in Manhattan serving young people and students [between the ages of 18 and 35] travelling through New York City.
The Hostel Facilities
The youth hostel offers 44 beds in dormitory style accommodations, both single sex and co-ed rooms. We have a cosy lounge and kitchen area that all guests can use. Housed in a historical brown stone building, it is a simple, clean and comfortable place. Your new home, away from home!
Please Note:
• There is no curfew - $10 deposit for key
• Maximum stay is 7 days from 1st June through September and 14 nights after (depending on availability) Advance reservations made for more than 14 days will not be accepted.
• We do not have WiFi and no large bags are allowed upstairs into the rooms.
• Rooms are closed for cleaning every day from 11am-3pm
• Cash, traveler’s check and credit cards are accepted for payment
• We provide towels for a $1 fee
• Valid photo ID is required (passport/US driver’s license)
• Reservations of 2 or more persons travelling together may not all be in the same dormitory. We will do our best to accommodate you.
FOR SUMMER: We do not have air conditioning.
Cancellation Policy:
• 48 hrs cancellation notice - Any cancellations with 24 hours will be charge a night's stay
• ‘No Show’ would lead to a night’s stay being charged
• No same day refunds after check in
• Office hours 8.00-23.00
• Check In: 15.00-21.00. Late check-in available until 10pm, please call or e-mail us in advance.
• Check-out: 10.00
