Liked: I loved the location. It's within walking distance from Central Park and Times Square and everything like Grocery Store, Drug Store, Bakery etc. are just around the corner.The staff members were friendly and also very helpful.I'd definitely recommend this hostel to everyone.It's the best hostel I've ever stayed in in NYC.

Liked: Location location location! Times Square, Rockefeller Centre, Central Park all within easy walking distance. Close to public transport which is easy to navigate.Very friendly staff too.

Liked: I've been staying in A LOT of nyc hostels in both manhattan and brooklyn, and this place is by far the best. I've stayed on 2 separate occasions and it's been my favorite each time.

Liked: My only complaint was the heating but a portable heater and extra blankets were provided. I had a great time and would recomment this hotel.

Liked: The staff was very friendly. On first sight the hostel seemed to be a little bit decayed but in fact it was cute and clean.I can recommend this hostel!

Liked: Great location! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend their budget on other things than just a bed to sleep in. After all, you'll probably not spend too much time in your room - NYC has a lot to offer. 1291 B&B is well-located, safe, the staff was very helpful and we met a lot of nice people during our stay.

Liked: Good place, I stayed in a dorm in the other buiding, it was spacious and furbished, it was like an apartement. Very comfortable ! It a shame they don' t have wifi or free internet acces like in other hostels.

Liked: It was in a really great location and the staff were really friendly. I was in a private room, it's very basic. This is a good place to stay if you don't expect to spend much time in your room and you just want somewhere to sleep.

Liked: in the heart of manhattan we found a small hostel with familier atmosphere in a quiet street five minutes from Columbus Circle. It s a hostel with an old tradition for over 30 years. Its not modern, but you find friendly staff and guests in every age It s the truth they offer coffee, tea, toast, cerealies and marmelade the whole day. The shared bathrooms were clean. We had one room for two people. It was small, but we had place enough for our luggage and warm and cold water inside. I think you can t get more for your money. If we come back to Manhattan, we ll go there again. (Gabi, 53 years)

Liked: location was brilliant, smack bang in the middle of Times Sq and Central Park. Hint though, take ear plugs because if the snoring of others doesnt get ya, the squeeky bunk beds will. Ask for a 2nd or 3rd pillow. otherwise really good place and people.

Liked: The Hotel is really nice, clean and colorful. I think is good for the price. I had a regular double room. it was small but confortable. The shared bathrooms are clean and near the room and there is not much people shearing it so I always find it free and clean. The location is perfect, 5 minutes fron Columbus Circle subway stop and 5 minutes walking forn central parck and times square. I would recomend it!

Liked: I had the best time and would definitely recommend this place. The staff were SO helpful (esp. Gabriele, thank you!). It felt nice and friendly and people were respectful of each other's space and privacy. The location is perfect and if you are travelling on a budget, then this IS the place for you! I would definitely go back again. Thanks VERY much! :-)
