Hotel 31 is a really nice and very, very clean hostel. Even if there were only two bathrooms per floor, they were really clean and ok! They were tiedied up several times per day. Hotel 31 is located in Midtown - only two street from Empire State Building - right perfect in the middle of Manhattan. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Location is perfect and for the price is probably as good as you get, more like a hotel than a hostel, not alot to do there but overall pretty good.

It was a good location in New York, close to the metro station and they are also on the cheaper side of accomodation in this area.

It was a small room, and a small bed for a "double" room, but it was very clean and had everything we needed. They provided towels, toiletries, hairdryer, a closet and TV. There was no view, but all we were there to do was sleep. The bathroom was just 2 doors down the hall and was kept very clean, and we never had to wait for someone else using it. The hotel was on a nice, quiet street only a block from the subway... overall a great place to stay.
