Liked: I was very pleased by how secure Times Square Dream Hostel is, as well as how friendly the staff member who helped me was. The location, convenience, and very low price--especially for New York City--will guarantee that I make use of this hostel again!

Disliked: The stairwell leading up to the hostel apartment could have been a bit cleaner, and the bathtub/shower drain was draining slowly (could probably stand to have a drain snake or drain cleaner used). I also think that a printer would be a nice addition to the laptop computer available in the apartment's common room.

Liked: Excellent locacation. Felt very safe and secure, no problems with coming and going all hours of the day and night, and the other guests were all pleasant. Only saw the one apartment, I gather they have several within the area, but it was a great place to stay.

Disliked: TThe internet went down on my last day, and as other reviews have said there are very few cooking utensils, but that really doesn't matter in the middle of NYC

Liked: it was clean, no bugs, people staying were friendly, staff helpfull, near times square but not too busy, good hostel

Disliked: stairs are steep but not unmanageable.....

Liked: This Hostel is very cleaned, the bedrom was confortable and they are like flats, so we have a little kitchen and living room in each apartment. And the best is the location, pretty close to Times Squares and subway.

Disliked: I just didn't like their time for check-in, which start 2.00 p.m, I think it could start earlier...

Liked: the best thing about the hostel is that is just five minutes walk from times square, it is very basic but clean, with free wi-fi and laptop available for use.

Disliked: nothing

Liked: The location was perfect. It is a walking distance from Times Square and the theaters.

Disliked: The room was really tiny, it was hard to move around, not comfortable at all. The bathroom was even smaller and the water in the shower was not warm. And what I said before about the location being further down the street. I didn't really understand question number 7 below.

Liked: It felt like staying at home! One can experience living in an apartment in New York City here! The Staff leave you alone hence you are able to have your privacy.

Disliked: Stairways to the apartment unit can be challenging for some with heavy bags & weak knees, ha! Noises from the street is the norm of the night as it is located in the Helk's Kitchen vicinity hence spoilt for choice fpr dining.

Liked: Excellent location, use of kitchen and lounge area between 8 people, use of laptop and internet for free.

Disliked: The only problem was the hostel room did not have a lock on the door, only a padlock from the outside. For health and safety reasons / if there was a fire, someone could lock you in your room.

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff. Free internet and phone calls. A good state of cleanliness.

Disliked: There were no pots, pans, tin-openers and very little cuttlery. This ruled out using the hob for cooking and left me the only alternative of buying my own stuff or going without

Liked: GREAT Location! Only 4 bed rooms, and your room has a special lock, so you feel safe leaving your stuff in the room.

Liked: Location = superb! Whole appartment with 3 rooms, each 2 persons, so very personal all together. Kitchen to use.

Liked: Great location, quiet hostel with free wifi and PC to use

Disliked: No real reception at hostel and you could be unlucky and not meet anyone there as everyone is out doing their own thing. Is a little expensive but then its NY so you probably wont get better as a single traveller. Maybe a few more utensils in the kitchen would be nice.

Liked: It was like staying in an apartment . Great to have free wi-fi. Staff very helpful with the hurricane problems at the weekend. Great location and easy to find.
