Here we are mean on clean and our reputation speaks for itself. Our hostel really is the first of its kind anywhere. We are a unique style of hostel and a much needed change from the commercial, less personal, 'I only want your money' style of hostel in New York today. Come on by; we won't disappoint!

This newly renovated hostel is located in Uptown Manhattan (Harlem) and offers state-of-the art amenities and services. Best of all, there is a kitchen, bathroom, and lounge space in the same unit that houses the booked bed for hostel guest!

What does this mean? You will never feel paranoid because of overcrowding and because we are smaller a high level of cleanliness is easier to maintain, and you and your friends can enjoy New York in style and in peace while on a budget.

We provide a free continental breakfast at weekends and are located 2 blocks from the 3 Express Train. From here travel to major tourist attractions is quick and convenient. Every time you return to Rita's Apartment Hostel after a day out in the city, it feels like coming back home to cleanliness, peace, and serenity.

Accommodation Information

Rita’s apartment hostel includes mixed dormitory style rooms with no more than 2 bunk beds per spacious room. We also have private rooms which house 2 individuals in a private bunk and private double bed rooms which house 2 individuals with a large double bed.

Our living rooms are nice and cozy and the perfect place to meet new people or if you are renting the entire space, the perfect place to recreate that feeling of home.

Everything in each apartment is newly renovated and is decorated with chic contemporary furniture. You really cannot find any accommodations in New York for this price that include everything that any apartment would include. You will actually be renting an apartment space, not a typical run-down hostel room.

We are aware that our site only allows for you to choose 1 person for every dorm room. However you can book for more than one person for each booking! if you would like to book for more than one person/bed, just choose multiple 1 person bookings for the day(s) you want to book. There is also a high chance that your party may be in the same dorm room but it is not guaranteed.
