Customer reviewThe landlady was friendly and the room was clean with a comfy bed. The place is quirky, but a bit run down and could do with a lick of paint. The location is very good, just a couple of minutes from the subway, and the area felt safe even though I was travelling alone. The only real drawback was the showers which were cold (maybe I got up too late?) and only had a shower curtain to separate them from the rest of the floor which was odd. A bargain given the location though, I would stay there again. |

Customer reviewI liked the fact it was so so clean, cleaner than some motels or hotels, staff was so nice!! It was not far from the subway and a supermarket, safe although people think Harlem is not safe. It is a safe area of NYC. I didnt like I had to pay to use internet. |

Customer reviewIf you have a low budget and you are not scared of cracky old house, then I should certainly recommend this place to you. It is not very clean place, but what do you expect for the amount of money that you pay. The place is very cosy and the people you meet at the hostel are incredible!!! And btw, you are always visiting, so you only need a bed to sleep. And beds are actually ok. I had a great stay in New York City and I hope everybody would enjot this place as much as I did!! |
