valerie heron-durantiIt was easy to find and there was TONS of free parking right on the side streets next to l-hostel! As i walked in, i noticed how clean and fun the lobby area was. There was music playing, tvs a great little cafe/deli and 6 computers with internet for $1 for 20min.! the rrom was GREAT! brand new, hard wood floors, spacious, granet counter tops in the kitchen and bath, tons of storage space and a STOVE and counter space to cook!! the roof deck was beautiful, but a little cold. i stayed in a 6 person all girls room and all of my roomates were very respectful and clean. it's only a 5-6 block walk to central park and a cab ride into downtown is only about $12. My only small complaint was the bed and pillow, too hard and uncomfortable. But i will be SURE to return to L-Hostel!! It's SO worth it! |

Customer reviewReally very good. Instant hot shower, roof is cool- I think it's the best you can get for that price, including towel and breakfast. Would come again. I was walking the area all nights, no problem. |

Lorraine HinchIt was spotless. We had a private double room en-suite and it was a great size, bed was so comfortable, the shower was huge and so clean. we had free breakfast all week of a huge bagel and coffee or tea midweek, and the subway was only 2 blocks away. We were given 2 very large, fluffy ,new looking towels at check in which was great with no charge. |

Rickie SingleDid have problems with my booking between HostelBookers.com and L-Hostel. I booked for three nights, but at the hostel I was only booked in for two nights!! They had to put an extra matress on the floor of one of the rooms for my last night. |

Customer reviewI liked the roof top, and the room was ok, although a little noisy because it gives access to other rooms, so there was uite a few coming and going. The breakfast was a little too simple. I would have appreciated to have some orange juice and more bread (only one bagel per person). |

Customer reviewI liked that the room and bathroom was clean, though 1 bathroom for 24 people is not sufficient and sleeping in the kitchen without a door for your dorm room is not all that either. The hostel is located near the subway, which is good. The neighborhood is so so, and the staff is downright unfriendly and unhelpful. A little bit of enthusiasm would not go astray. |

Customer reviewVery new and flash inside. I thought it go crowded down at the breakfast/rececption/entrance area easily and that it wasn't a location where it was easy to go out for a few beers with a friend. |

Customer reviewVery high quality hostel, rooms are of good size, not too cramped, and airconditioned! Free internet and breakfast (Mon-Fri only mind!), TV room, kitchen and lots of vouchers and ideas for things to do in the Big Apple. Also close to the metro (which, by the way, is a nightmare to figure out... not a fault of the hostel though =) ) Would definitely visit again and recommend it to others! |

Customer reviewClean, close to the subway and Central Park, friendly staff. The downsides are that it is a bit overcrowded, breakfast is every day the same (bagel with jelly) and it's a pity that the rooms have a fully equiped kitchen, yet you are not allowed to use them. Overall it's a great value for your money. |

Alfonso Cardenasatmosphere, facilities, fun place to meet people.... negative things were: they didn`t have soap in the room's bathroom, and that the door's lock in room 409 wasn't working... |
