Liked: biggest hostel ive ever been.. so lots of things and all ppl need is available...only bad thing is a bit far from downtown and theres lots of ppl staying in hostel.. but is all prety well organized...

Disliked: to much ppl... sometimes can take a bit to check in and stuff...

Liked: Well located between subway lines - lots of options for getting to Mid-Town area. Convenience store over the road is also handy - and I love that there was a Starbucks on the next block! Went every day.

Disliked: Cold showers!

Liked: Great rooms. The bathrooms are being refurbished and they're amazing, great showers, just what you need after travelling.

Liked: It was very clean and had a great location right next to the subway. The staff were friendly and always available to help.

Disliked: I had some trouble accessing the wireless Internet, which was a bit of a bother.

Liked: The quietness in the room, the kitchen is great! Also I enjoyed the patio where I could smoke instead of going to the street! The cleanliness!

Liked: it is a very nice place to crash. Not the ceapest but definetly it was worth it. I would recommend to anybody NY HI because i enjoied every moment that i spent here.

Disliked: I found a mouse on my suitcase and it came out every night! It was so terrible that i couldn't sleep tight at night!

Liked: Staff were superb with knowledge about the area. Best hostel in USA

Disliked: Had to check out then recheck back in but had to wait until 4pm was frustrating

Liked: Great facilities, good place to meet other travelers, rooms are nice and clean

Disliked: Only one (sometimes "one and a half") bathroom per floor, considering there are LOTS of guest per floor it was sometimes a trouble...

Liked: AWESOME. Seriously, I've traveled a lot and stayed in a lot of hostels, mostly through Europe... this was by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Everything is so secure, kitchen is HUGE and BEAUTIFUL, they offer lots of really great tours. You will not be disappointed if you stay here.

Liked: It was clean, the rooms were big and nice. You have your own locker, you just need to bring your lock. The location is also great and close to the city center - you just take subway number 1,2,3 and you're there in 10 minutes. I already recommended it to my friends. Next time i go to NYC I'm staying here again!

Liked: Amazing kitchen... huge with HEAPS of pots/pans/utensils/fridges, terrific outdoor area perfect for soaking in warm afternoons, epic movie / tv room with the comfiest ground-level couches, free wifi and pool on the pool table as well as plenty of books/magazines/games to chill out after a long day/night on the town

Disliked: toilets/showers were often full
