Liked: Clean, big kitchen, lot of entertainment

Disliked: a bit anonymous because of a lot of guest,, internet is far too expensive on computers

Liked: Nothing jumps out. Security everywhere helps.

Disliked: Not really as fun as it appears to be. Terrible wi fi coverage, always drops out. Rooms are clean but toilets need to be checked more often. Extremely rude staff. Blamed me for something in which I wasn't told about, and another lied to me which made it most unenjoyable. Wouldn't stay there again purely based on the rudeness. Cannot underline how angry I was at how I was treated.

Liked: Easy to get to from JFK/Amtrak/Greyhound ; just off the No 1 subway line. Similarly easy to get around NY from the hostel Very close to Central Park Great tours/events laid on by the hostel (some free, all cheap) Great kitchen and plenty of common space Good clean dorms and bathrooms

Disliked: No toilets on the lobby and basement floors

Liked: Absolute cleanliness, many free activities to do and meet people, very kind atmosphere, very comfortable place to stay.

Disliked: Some lockers aren't big enough for the bagagge.

Liked: The bathrooms where nice

Disliked: I didnt like the area too much, I didnt like that they did not offer airport pickup. The staff was not very friendly. It was a very large not very cosy. Not a very nice atmosphere. No free breakfast, no free internet.

Liked: Awesome hostel one of the best in the world. Organised tours every day, all cheap and some free! friendly helpful staff, great facilities, clean rooms, big clean bathrooms, lots of different areas to socialise/meet people/chill. I traveled alone, and had the trip of a lifetime all owed to the great organisation of this hostel! Even the location is great, and it's easy to get around on the subway.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike, awesome hostel, awesome people!

Liked: It's a fun location to stay, though it's a few blocks from Times Square/Battery Park etc, the red number one line is a one block walk. Central Park is about a three block walk. It's very good value for money for NYC. Very clean, hot showers, helpful staff, lots of activities to partake in.. I'll be going back!!

Disliked: Unfortunately on some of my nights stay there was a large group of children above us and it appeared that the staff with this group were on a different floor.. The children were jumping off the bunks and making a lot of noise after 11pm when others were trying to sleep.

Liked: The facilities were fantastic! bathrooms really clean, and the events they ran were great.

Disliked: I found the staff to be a bit abrupt and not always helpful.

Liked: Great location, really couldn't be nearer the Metro. Always clean, girls bathrooms especially.

Disliked: Lift could be slow and busy but never a massive problem, only a mild irritation when checking in/out.

Liked: very friendly and helpful stuff, the free city tours were amazing! thanks to the volunteers i saw nyc in a way i probably never would have discovered it on my own! the help desk also advices you in case you want to explore the city on your own and provide you with all the utilities (free local phone calls, map etc) you may need!

Disliked: the atmosphere among travellers was a bit chilly and impersonal, only during the tours I got to know other people, in the room and common areas hardly anyone spoke to each other, probably because the hostel is so big. It would have been nice to have breakfast included (even if it was just a coffee and some biscuits), this can be good also to get to know other travellers.

Liked: Everything! the people, they have tons of fun activities that would help see the city and meet other travelers!

Disliked: I liked everything about it!

Liked: Great way to introduce yourself to NYC, this hostel is vibrant and offers more than most hostels.

Disliked: The only downfall is that breakfast isn't available for all, so expect to spend money in this already expensive city

Liked: The hostel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the location was convenient to the subway line to Times Square (literally one block away) and Central Park, the price was affordable. All in all - a wonderful place to stay.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Events and things to do everynight.

Disliked: The wifi was really bad. I couldn't connect to the internet most of the time, also, the walls and ceilings are super thin. Getting to sleep is a super hard task even with an iPod and pillow.
